  1. My morning commutes to the office have been purposefully below 75%... Otherwise I may end up needing another shower before I change. Avg 130-140 or so...
  2. Cool. I'd personally expect to see a dip when you hit 7 weeks history of not hitting it, as then you'd have breached the 50% mark. Remember you'll only see it the fooollowing week, as they don't know what your goal history is like until the Tuesday following.
  3. Not the old dh trail no. Only old old one (nationals) and red phoenix / Bennetts red. Fire hut not fully open yet afaik. Best to ask on Bennet Ace of Spades Nel fb page Edited firehut status
  4. LOL. If it satisfies the requirements, then yeah. Also, Disco was (apparently) trying to reintegrate with Strava. Was only the reliability of data that made them boot the big S. So - if this sorts out the reliability / verifiability side of things, then why not. Remember - I've never said don't use the workarounds if you've done the actual work. I just have an issue with the okes who did the manual uploads with dodgy data
  5. Hmmmm... Interesting. Seeing as S Health is fully integrated in VAR, it may pave the way for re-using Strava...
  6. AFAIK it's based on a rolling 12 week history. So on average if you hit them, it will go up. I'd imagine (speculating here) that your instances of missing need to make up more than 50% of our targets in the past 12 weeks in order for the target to drop. IE: you need to have missed 7 of the past 12 targets in order for the target to drop.
  7. already know the answer to this, you do....
  8. it is, and i saw that. Just think it was a rather literal interpretation the original saying!
  9. the addition of a "t" would make it much more socially acceptable.
  10. They each have their points where one is better than the other, but as a complete offering the Discovery is better. Liberty's gym benefit was better cos you didn't have to pay an activation fee and you could get it for free if you went x times per month. As far as rewards programs go, I'd rank them Vitality --> Multiply --> Own Your Life (liberty) --> Sanlam whateveritscalled
  11. funny you mention him. Saw him (tiny little oke) at Blackhill jump line a few weeks back. Told him he'd fit it in no time. His response "I'm already used to it" Yeah, well, we told you so!
  12. Aaaaah! That makes more sense. Couldn't make out the grain in the pic and it just looked like the generic filler blehness.
  13. and source linkage spares... yissss. Mate of mine has one of those and he hates it going in for a pivot service cos he always has to wait ages to get it back.
  14. I love pocket holes. Only thing I DON'T like about them is the gigantic hole they leave! BTW Panties, a tip i picked up from my grandfather when filling holes - mix a generous helping of the wood shavings and sawdust into the filler before plugging it in the hole. Helps match the hue of the wood more closely than naked filler, and also accepts stain more readily.
  15. what sort of activities? Ones that you have created on GC? If so, you need to put the watch in its charging dock and plug it in to the USB port on the computer that you have GC on.
  16. Personally, the latter. I value the kuier aspect far more than the medals / podium. Plus, strava is all you need for that.
  17. Off topic, but I'm a semi-bachelor at the moment (wife and kid went to durban on Friday and come back on Monday) and the drop in the amount of washing and dishes is HUUUUGE! Saying that, I need to vacuum & sweep the house this evening. And start washing my bike before I bring it inside!!! Just creates more work for myself.
