  2. Surely not... That must be a frameset with the RS-1 fork and a seatpost...
  3. The 780. It's a very very small rise Edit. Just had another look. Seems like a 10/12mm rise and a bit of an up sweep / back sweep
  4. Trust me... This one's not flexy. If I don't flex it, at my weight.... and it's only 200 ZAR.
  5. Rapide do a wide bar that is almost flat.780mm and hardly any rise
  6. Absolutely fine. Your handling improvements will br far and away higher than the possibility of clipping trees. Unless you're riding in bamboo plantations or have the spatial awareness of a drunk toddler
  7. No go. Still off limits, and will be for at least the next 5 months.
  8. None yet, But I'll be there later this week once it's filtered down to the guys in the relevant positions.
  9. No. And there is a rumour of a partial refund for activity card holders, but I will provide more info once it's been confirmed and the actual numbers are decided upon. For now it's not finalised. Just to make it clear - NO. You can NOT ride in Tokai. If you are caught, you WILL be fined, banned and most likely prosecuted for trespassing. It's THAT serious.
  10. They're working 7 days a week, so I reckon it'll be in one fell swoop. If you'll excuse the pun.
  11. From Vince, who was in the meeting this morning with Deon, Sandra and Rob Vogel. Suffice to say that I have the sads. Will release more info as and when it happens. Hi Guys The situation is way more complex than we imagined. We asked lots of questions. Here are some of the points that were explained to us. 1. Cape Pine requested that the park be closed until logging is finished. 2. Cape Pine has got a small window to harvest all the pines before its unusable so they have put all their resourses into Tokai. 3. No-one is allowed into Tokai that includes Telkom, Sentec, Baboon watchers, runners , hikers, dog walkers etc and even some of the TMNP staff. 4. All the massive Bluegums are going to come down and are unsafe at the moment. 5. The slopes where the pines were have to stabilised . 6. TMNP is putting in a claim of R36 mil to the government to remove aliens and stabilise the mountain and do an impact study of the area.
  12. Crap. Confirmed. Will update with more when we know more details. I'm gutted...
  13. I don't know where he got that info from. No news on Parks website twitter or Facebook feed. looking into it now
  14. Ja, true. still. I love the look of it. Want it in raw. That Thunderbolt looks like a seriously capable machine if you go by the Bible of Bike Test reports.
  15. it's dumbasses like that that get the animalls into ***. OOh, look a lion, I get excited! I'm taking a photo! It won't hurt me, the ranger has a gun! Bollocks. Should have taken him back to the camp the minute he decided to not listen and continue using a normal volume level of speech.
  16. Gah! So not comparable to a thunderbolt at all then. Colour me disappointed.
  17. I can tell you that Mark is one happy chappie.... though he did say that he bartered as much as he could.

The request for a much larger than expected tariff hike reportedly has the backing of Government’s so-called “war room”. S&P downgrades Eskom credit rating to junk Ratings agency S&P has downgraded Eskom’s credit rating to BB+. The announcement came late on Thursday and will cause a spike in the cost of borrowing for the beleaguered utility. S&P also put Eskom on a "negative outlook," citing last week's unexpected suspension of Eskom CEO Tshediso Matona and three other senior executives. The ratings agency says it doesn't have confidence in government's support plan and that Eskom's operating performance hasn't stabilised because of a spike in costs and the extremely tight generation capacity margin.
