  1. Do it. Anything you do to that thing will make it look better.
  2. Ouch. That's a years groceries for a starving Ethiopians extended family!
  3. Eeek! Noted dude. Just as well they were more expensive than a couple of local options when I bought my stuff! Even with the low exchange rate.
  4. And a totally different aerodynamic package AND chassis surrounding that boot. Not the same at all.
  5. I think he has a good chance. Personally I would have liked to see Hulkenberg in there, as he's also a strong up and coming driver. I think Kimi will rip Alonso apart, tbh.
  6. Love my switch evos. Modeled on the hope pro 2 evo, just quieter. Still going strong after 1 year, no hassles. Spares are easy to come by, and shipment wasn't an issue. They send it by normal international mail so probably a week to deliver to the post office. Ordered a set of skewers from them as well and they went straight to my post box. I'd definitely buy from them again.
  7. Yeah. Exactly. It's like Marc Marque in Moto GP. The Hondas are AMAZING this year, and he is running rings around the competition. Yamaha is lagging, and Ducati is nowhere. But because the bike that he's riding is so fast, he's not getting as much credit as he deserves - and he deserves a LOT of credit, being where he is in his rookie year. Vettel, like Raikonnen, is a fantastic driver. Put Raiki in the RB and I think you'll have a far closer match than currently, where the lotus is underpowered compared to the RB, yet still Raki manages to put out the quick laps come race time.
  8. The change I'm most interested in is the need fr teams to select one set of gear ratios for ALL races...
  9. But ja. Just goes to show how the ZAR has affected us wrt imports.
  10. That sounds right though... 589 plus vat is approx 680 and then shipping / clearance fees on top of that...
  11. So it seems to be a leonardo contraption...
  12. Don't do it. Really, don't pull the trigger on a new bike that will actually be less well specced than your current one. Spend the moolah on wheels. A decent set can be bought for 5k. Which is less than the new bike, but you'll find yourself in this position again if you go for the new bike and again have to upgrade the wheels in 2 years time. A good set of wheels will last a whole lot longer than the wheels on the new bike. Properly built, with proper hubs and such.
  13. Not for patches, headshot and I. R 409 beeeeeyatch!
  14. Yeah, the regulations were always going to change, but it'll be interesting to see what rule changes Ecclestone will put into place to try and restrict the dominance. If he does any rule changes strictly to penalize the current dominant manufacturers, then that's a farce of note. But personally - I can't wait for the new engine regulations. Just want the fuel stops to come back in, and the drivers to be able to push the tyres without fear of unreasonable degradation.
  15. True. But the assumption is that a low volume slick shall be used. As for the rear axle, 100% correct. My 135x12mm just fits in the stocks.
  16. Any trainer will work. 29er wheel = road wheel so as long as you put a small slick on your rim for use with the idt, it will fit. They're designed around road bikes, as Capricorn said. And you do NOT want to train on an idt with knobbliea
  17. You'll hit the same wall with the new bike, dude. At that price point, rims are crap and so are the forks. Your raidon should still be good (it's a very under-rated fork) and the frame will be exactly the same on the new bike give or take a few cosmetic changes such as the paint job and maybe a tapered head tube (if anything at all) My 2c - upgrade your existing wheels. Don't bother with buying a new bike just for the sake of it. Your frame is a good one (those gt's are built well) and can last for a lot longer. In the end - you'll have a FAR better bike that will serve you far better and longer that way, as opposed to buying the new one and having the same problem in a years time.
  18. Nope. That's a bash ring. Nothing worse than kalumphing into a rock with your chain & chainring taking the full brunt of the impact!
  19. Yeah. But I suppose it all comes down to how you ride and treat the thing.
