  1. +1 on that, covie. Those crests are the biz, even though i would go for the flows for My heavy ass.
  2. The backsaving thing is true (personal experiences lol) plus I prefer to carry in CB than in pockets. Also keeps the water colder, andngives me a place to strap the elbow / knee pads on to fr the way down.
  3. Going up or down? On the ups I use the same height as I would on a road bike. Power and efficiency. Technical ST has it about 2" lower than that, so I can throw it around more easily and huck without getting a proctology exam. On the way down it's 3" lower still, giving a total drop of 5" or so. That's why i need a dropper post!
  4. Nice Nipples! ROFL. Sorry, had to... And don't let patches see your rims. Apparently, black rims are for poor people.
  5. One word. Muthafkinb1tchassloser! I hate you.
  6. Oh, look. Management speak in afrikaans. Dis nou 'n nuwe perspektief.
  7. I love online window shopping. Wishlist populating endorphin rushing sweetness of it all.
  8. yep yep yep! And a word of warning - the same goes for clothing on CRC, or any international retailer. Make SURE the stuff is Max 50% of the local price before ordering. Otherwise VAT & duties will give you a nasty shock.
  9. Oh, yes. We're talking JHB here. Of course the least grippy, hardest compound tire would be the go - to. As soon as you're hitting pace in that soft, loamy KZN singletrack, you may have other thoughts. Especially if you're hauling a$$.
  10. I don't wanna know why though... I like my stuff over-engineered. Plus, I would be stoopid to go weight-weenie. I've got more than enough shedding to go on for myself, before I start shelling out $$$$ for a lighter steed.
  11. exactomondo. Fuel costs & such for the endless search.
  12. Can't remember the name of it, but look for the thread that Patches started in the online shopping section. Something about a super duper super secret online store
  13. yeah, sure they will... It'd be silly to go backwards in terms of adjustability. Plus, the spacer doesn't really have anything to do with the assembly itself. It's more of a bumper!
  14. oooooeeey! Those KCNC Bones jobbies don't inspire my confidence...
  15. Sorta like a burnishing compound, but made specifically for carbon goodies.
