  1. How the hell does one "dige" anyway? Oh Mega Man - those frenchies have had more of an effect on you than you had thought! Mama Mia!
  2. Don't forget the 5 bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
  3. ooh. Saying that... she ain't so bad herself. Oh mega man - these are the types of bumps you see on the MX track, as whoops, but condensed. Kidney rattlers. Filling shakers. Booty breakers. Tittie-shaking-eye gobblers. Not little piddly ruffles from my little pony.
  4. P or S - one word. Your word. Can also be written on a calculator, using numeric characters. 8 double zero 8 1 three five Busted.
  5. Just remember - they're MY lady-humps.... check it out!
  6. Bwahaha! Totally missed that... Anyway - you just qualified yourself for a limited-time-only foot in mouth renewal package!
  7. agreed, Cap. PorS - there's enough height there to leave it as is without building it up. I'm thinking at least 500mm or so - make it challanging, but not too much so that you come pip if you just unweight the front. Shouldn't need to build it up at all. And Cap - like the braking ruts used to be at the bottom of the fire road, by the beginning of My Roots, only condensed and emancipated? I could like those. Sorta like mini-whoops. That make you wanna boost them, but you know that you can't otherwise your front might *just* grab one...
  8. Bottom side, at the place where old meets new. Would like to see an off-camber or bermed drop into the existing exit onto the fire road. Cap - that pretty much what we were saying, right?
  9. Instead of the super tight switchbacks. Have one major bermed switch, then drop into the "old" DH track in a way like the old Vasbyt used to be... log-drop mid-corner straight into a berm. Idea? The clearing will take 30 mins (max) and all that needs to be done is on the bottom end of the track anyway. Would make it far more interesting than the existing tight-as-a-nun-on-lent style switchers
  10. Bastards! Damn, still in Durbs on Sunday. Wanted to be there again.
  11. Bionic man coming up! Heal quick, DJR... See you back on the trails very soon!
  12. It is available in some branhes of Exclusive Books - It's MBUKL or Mountin Biking UK for the full title. I think the Constantia Village one stocks it, while the Anal Walk & Cavendish ones do not. Stockability depends on the store's own policy. If it sells, they keep it. If not, well then...
  13. Yeah, but we can still be legit. Nothing preventing us from doing that. But hell, what do I know? My Audi A4 made it up the fire road to collect that little guy. Cos he couldn't ride down. Or walk, for that matter. So - no ground clearance issues! Even on that fecking big water bar!
  14. Dude - please don't get aggro with all the other DHers 'cos of a few inflamed remarks. They are generally well behaved. Plus, I ride in baggy shorts. But I have bibs on underneath...
  15. For anyone who wants another legit way of getting supreme mtb advice (XC, FR, Dh etc) then you can't go wrong with Brian Lopes & Lee McCormack's Mountain Biking Skills (Version 1 OR 2) Brian is a DH & mex legend, and Lee McCormack is a professional MTB coach. It's VERY easy to follow, and has lots of shiny pitchers to keep you interested.
  16. Haha!! Dude - subtle on the 16varieties of individual, mate... Very subtle. And as for bringing Lyra back - you should have seen MH rockin the lycra yesterday. Between that and his shiny a$$ bike, he could've been a local on a gay pride march! Just kidding, MH - your bike is awesome! I know what you mean about comfort. Which is why I wear my bibs under the shorts. Sneaky sneaky! That little guy was sore, man. Really sore. Damn lucky though, cos he got nabbed about an inch from his tjollie! Guy was a trooper though. Handled it well. Thank goodness he had bar end-caps on. Coulda been alot worse! But MH - you're forgetting about the other wipeout within our riding party - broken collarbone on Boulders. Just an unruly front tire, and POP! And that wasn't an XCer (in the traditional sense, that is)
  17. ROFL!!! Will be sure to watch out for the rock troll!
  18. LOL! Just seen that comment about "screeching"now. Yeah, that's what started the convo, mate... Still on for 3pm?
  19. Gee, Agent - those pics r awesome!
  20. I'm with you here, mate. More material in the buildup of bikes, more R&D and MUCH more pioneering technology comes through in the DH environment. Not to mention MUCH bigger forks, the necessity of making things MUCH stronger whilst keeping it (relatively) light, as well as just the plain SIZE of the things compared to xc... The mind boggles.
  21. Or that thing I suggested. Drop into old line?
  22. That makes it even better! Must have taken a wrong turn on the way to get some milk & eggs for that cake she was bakin... She hadn't heard the legendary Ricky Bobby epithet - Wanna go FAST!
  23. Maxing your bike = riding it to the extent of its capabilities. Something none of us do.
  24. I beat it hands down. I'm that hot. But no - those oparetic okies keep things very close to their (rather large) chests. I just concentrate on lower notes than they do.
