  1. Exactly my sentiments. Little one came out the cinema saying it was "the best movie everrrrr" but in the car on the way home he slumped down a bit. Asked him what was wrong and he told me that he was feeling super sad about the ending and it kinda ruined it for him. Cue a chat that I'd not expected to have from that sort of movie.
  2. Beautiful, Eugene. That part of the world is really picturesque.
  3. There is a cap on points allocated for the 60-69%HR bracket (1,000 per year) same as there are for steps below 10,000 per day. This will not affect your ability to earn points for VAR purposes, just your annual Vitality points. All those things you've listed in the screenshot have an allocation of 50 or 100 points. See here: https://new.discovery.co.za/discovery_coza/web/linked_content/pdfs/vitality/vitality_news/vitality_fitness_points_table.pdf
  4. OMG yes. Like HAPPY, but with more degenerates.
  5. There was a dude on the Kingdom full suss at the Conters enduro. OMF that thing is even sexier in the flesh.
  6. Tat's why I say from any other angle my eye starts twitching. Like those Liteville full sussers. I'm sure they're great, but I don't want that linkage anywhere near where it is, thanks.
  7. I'll jump in here with a bit of a different take on it... Disco, to date, for all their promotions, deals, wellness benefits etc have had to interact / collaborate with 3rd party suppliers / external companies to get their systems working, and that's been a bit of a problem with data. I'm hoping that, like their actual core businesses (health / life etc) they'll be able to run it without having to integrate with a different company's systems, thereby "cleaning" the whole thing up. At the core of it, they're an excellent provider of benefits, but people get frustrated with the extraneous stuff (boosters, smoothies, etc etc) whereas in my experience, the Life / Medical / etc stuff WORKS. Yeah, there are niggles in client interactions (as with every company) which is where my services come into their own, but if I had to weigh up Vitality "integration" issues (with the 3rd party benefits and paybacks etc) vs the "core business" issues, there's a heavy bias towards errors on the vitality benefit stuff (as we can see on this thread - it's all vitality)
  8. Not as much, because it isn't as offset and it's still mounted "properly"...
  9. LOVE the look from this side... From any other angle, I get an involuntary tick and my eye starts twitching
  10. No. You can respect the person, without respecting the belief. They are not mutually exclusive. Besides, in AG's case he used to be extremely up front about how God favours him, and he's suuuper close to Jesus which is why he wins so much. Only normal that it would open him up to a bit of ridicule surrounding that. If God was on his side for the wins, then he sure is for the failures, too. #testthefaith./
  11. maybe it's as simple as he can't drive like that AND listen to a co-driver at the same time.... without adversely impacting his speed and concentration. I've done a few gymkhanas and "rallies" in my life, and it's not easy trying to drive fast AND listen to someone telling you fast left 60 blind rise caution caution...
  12. Answer is in the post above, but 6mm.
  13. I'm pretty darn sure he's correcting a slide as he puts the power down on the grass just before getting back onto the asphalt properly
  14. Yeah, nobody is on pace with the Yam any more. They're so far off the top speed lists it's embarassing. VR is wringing that thing's neck to get any more out of it and stay with the top 3/5 depending on the track. I don't think VR has lost it. And the Duc now is VERY different to the Duc that Casey was on, which was VERY different to the one Rossi was on. You can't really compare riders on the same bikes with vastly different setups to each other, and then try to extend that to different YEARS (like in the case of Stoner vs Rossi, where Stoner left a garage that wasn't listening to him, was getting progressively slower, had no formal rider feedback to speak of so that they could develop the bike in the way it needed to be... And then Rossi, who IS a development rider as well (look how he collabed with Yam when they were prepared to listen to riders back when he changed the firing order and rotation) just wasn't able to get through to the know-it-all italians.

  16. Yeah, but I *think* the conditions favoured the H2R to be honest. Either that, or launch control on the f1 car wasn't working so lekka. H2R is a frikkin rocketship, though.
  17. and if I'm not smoking my socks, she can't do anything about it in NZ court, can she? Custody and maintenance agreements were formed under SA law, with (maybe) different laws surrounding this stuff. Can't all of a sudden try to change it to comply with NZ law / use any potential positive (for her) differences just because she moved there, correct?
  18. would have loved to see the f1 car accelerate on a surface without as much dust as that.... was spinning all the way into 3rd
  19. Well, in this case it's true. Not every surface is JUST tar or JUST rock or JUST pebbles. Little bits of detritus fall / form on top of the substrate, rock, etc etc and the rain washes them away. The soil gets damp and the loose stone on top sink in to the soil, giving a less squiggly surface than the loose stuff would have been in the dry. Moon dust clumps together to form a slightly better base for grip, until it doesn't. Wet roots, though, are death-logs.
  20. YOu need to remove the bit from the ? onwards in the link that you copy to clipboard. If you're on a PC, go to the individual post and just copy the URL. If you copy from the person's page, same as the former. Need to remove everything after teh initial alphanumeric sequence and following /
  21. And? He's still top performing Yamaha, and can still mix it with the top top okes when top speed isn't everything. But, unfortunately, the Yam is kaaaak at top speed to such an effect that it's harming their chances in fighting for the podium consistently. Over it? Definitely not. Who cares when he last won a championship - his team roster since then hasn't been the greatest, either. Developed Honda to the best on the circuit. Went to Yam, turned IT into the best on the track Went to a Duc that was continually declining in performance (yes, the CS bike that even he said was getting slower and duc wasn't listening to him) where he was ignored ito development (well documented) Went back to Yam where there was a new nr1 rider, and all effort was going towards developing the bike in that direction He and the rest of the Yam riders have had a long history of criticising the Yam's power and tyre management. They've just got the latter sorted partially, but now they're 22kph down on top end. That's MASSIVE. And yet, he's still there. Top Yam. Yeah, he's past it, alright.
