  1. yeah, I know. YOu may be able to get the 2.3 in DD still, but I think Rush stopped bringing em in. Only option is to bring em in yourself, I guess.
  2. always have been a bit slow. But, if I say I've had them for ~5 years, that I'm ahead of the curve?
  3. LOL. Did it for S&G's 'cos Jewbacca carried on saying it's "almost flanneltime" in his posts. Don't normally ride in flannel at all, but I may going into winter 'cos it's a bit warmer than the regular cycling shirts. Plus, I dig flannel. No longer look like a lumberjack now that I've lost the beard...
  4. at least it's on the other side, this time... LOL
  5. Simply put, it's a higher volume unit due to a wider base. Wider base also supports the sidewalls better (to a point) and gives the tyre a bit more lateral rigidity.
  6. yeah, for hardpack it makes sense to have closer spaced knobs. Just look at Dirt Jumpers and BMX's. For the soft, sandy, muddy loamy stuff, less so. But I still think the 2.5 aggressor looks like a nice mid-point between the lightweight & non grippy stuff, and the more aggressive tyres like Minion & Assguy.
  7. 35mm with 458mm reach and 640mm top tube & 800mm bars with 50mm rise.
  8. lower part of Vasbyt, after the chunderyish road crossing. You cross the road, there's a stump jump into a LH berm, over a little bridge, RH corner, rock roll. This was the rock roll. Was gonna take a vid of the stump jump, but I crashed before that and thought better of it cos it was a pretty heavy (and bloody quick) slam that I had. Ribs bruised, shoulder muscle pulled or something and then the dirt kisses. Still did the jumps again, but will video it next time.
  9. Tokai, again. And left with a few dirt kisses, bruised ribs & a pulled shoulder muscle.
  10. I think a fair few people would be well served to remember that. If you don’t have adequate verifiable data, you’re not in a position to have an opinion. And that’s not to be sniffed at.
  11. rather her peach than your dad's plums... euwwwww.
  12. As flexible as an RS1, or fox40? ????
  13. LOL no. You're on the left, and in a moment of utter stupidity I thought Coenie was Adrian Kuypers. FAIL.
  14. don't worry about it. It's pretty much a standalone game, and yo can clue yourself up on the pre-story via Youtube etc if you want to. When I watched the walkthrough (all 16 hours of it, lol) I had no desire to seek out the previous ones.
  15. I'd say that the "trail" designation extends to some 140/150mm bikes as well, depending on what they are and how their suspension is designed. But the majority of 150 plus bikes are in the "all Mountain" cat, which just means more travel and slacker angles with a focus skewed towards more technical descents. Then Enduro above that with the latest long low slack moniker. Edit: but yeah, in general I agree with you, Jewie. ????
