  1. Nah, he said in the Wyn TV segment that he was really looking forward to racing this year and the injury last year reminded him how much he loved it. Just a bit of bad luck after it started raining, imo. If he'd not been injured last year it would have been a different story I reckon.
  2. No. He qualified in 61st place due to an off in one of the sectors and because he didn't finish in the top 20 last year he wasn't a protected rider.
  3. Is that a DTM wagon version? Not that attractive, IMO
  4. Loved it. Every bit of it. "I KNEW it!!!!" - T
  5. Yeah, normally I try to disassociate myself from the book / movie if I've experienced the original. Otherwise, it's disastrous. Only one I haven't really felt like that with is the LOTR series, but even then there was some directive license taken with the movies that just would have been so much better if the book had been followed. Worst without a doubt was the "Seeker" series of books. Damg, that TV adaptation was feckin terrible.
  6. Dude.... dude. Wow. That movie gave me all the feels. Was broken, at the end.
  7. Yeah, I know the possibility of getting something epic is strong, but the kinda guy who's looking for a table in that range isn't necessarily going to make an epic table (or even one that's better than the standard one!) Fully agree with you on the 2nd hand option though. My Ryobi table (which I eventually just threw out) took a long time to get to know and adjust properly. YOu could do it, but oh my goodness. It just wasn't worth it. This looks to be better in a number of areas, and of better construction, too. For use as a daily table? Not a chance in hell. Occasional hobbyist use, yeah, why not.
  8. Nein. It may need a bit more reinforcement if you're gonna be using it every day, but it looks a lot better than the Ryobi shaite that gets hammered as soon as you turn it on. Also - mounting circular saw onto a board isn't as simple as it seems. If you want mitre, depth adjustment & moving fences it's immediately more complicated and long winded. You CAN make a good table, but it's not ideal. We (my dad and I) did this a few times over the years, and as soon as he got his TRITON saw bench he kicked himself for not having done it earlier. Now, I've got a SHOPSMITH workcentre waiting for me in Durban. As well as the Triton. 2 circular saws here in CT, a bosch 6 1/4 and a Makita 6906 (i believe) 12 inch job.
  9. Yeah, gonna take your advice and do just that (once my fecking ribs have healed!!!) Whenever I've "started" it's been on the Alphen Green Belt. Hardly technical running terrain, I'd almost call it road running cos of how flat and hard it is. And I used to start slow. 30s run / 3m30 walk etc etc and slowly ratchet it down. But whenever I went over the 1 min run side, at about 10-15 min in I'd get that pain I know all too well. Hiking / jogging on the mountain / down platteklip etc... no such issue. Legs were jelly, but not in that same sharp pain I've had when "running" or starting to run.
  10. GS500's aren't supposed to look that good. Dammit!!!
  11. I loved it. So.much so that I think I'm gonna watch it again tonight. It was very different. Almost hunger games meets Tron meets Charlie and the chocolate factory. Also yeah the pop culture refs are excellent. For that reason and the fact that it looks EPIC I really wanna get Cyberpunk 2077 when it releases.
  12. I'd be interested in trying that out, and one of my mates (v18 here) would as well.
  13. Catching up here, but you've hit an interesting point. Never get knee pain when running (yes, running) down Cecilia / Newlands forest. But flat terrain? Within 10 min my meniscus and ligaments are pleading with me. Maybe I should just give up the green belt as my "training" field (when I start again) and try the hills up above.
  14. oooooooh.... Nice! how are tehy riding, though? I've been interested in these and the DH22's since I saw Sam running em.
  15. Yeah, I like WTB but haven't used em since my days on their Weirwolf & wolverine, which were amazing, albeit a bit soft on the casing side for my tastes. But that wasn't their WCS Tough casing, so it's to be expected. I've read really really good things on the Convict / Trailboss / Vigi.
  16. yeah, them and Lyne are excellent with delivery & service
