  1. This. Spoeg still happens. Sperm is only 2-3% of spoeg anyway, so there's no difference, really
  2. Feel free to PM me / mail me for a chat. I handle other stuff as well, but if you need a revision of your cover I'll be happy to assist.
  3. If you want to chat, we can. As with all things financial advice, the answer is "it depends" Which gap are you on at the moment?
  4. Sorry, I've just looked again and it's 458. I read your post as being very close to 500. Stratum (the other one I use) is a little bit less than that, but not enough to warrant a change. Both Stratum & Zest are exceptionally good.
  5. Primary members are always more expensive. Well, almost always. On some of the lower end plans the Principal and spouse are the same cost. Gap, there's a "family rate" and a "single rate" - family is only just a little more $$ than single.
  6. Never had a problem with my SLX 10sp and 46t. Just needed to turn all the b screw in. 2x10 already has more capacity (tooth difference) than 1x10 11-46.
  7. Do it, and yes it can. Just put it on the outer side inner side of the crank, and put a couple spacers (included with most single rings) on it to put the chainline more towards the centre.

  9. JEEPERS, dude, what option are you on!? I only see those premiums for those over 65 (and in some cases 55)
  10. I had that problem this afternoon while picking up my lightie. Shorts were just on the edge, comfortable and sitting very nicely. Until I put my phone in my pocket.
  11. yeah, sometimes (depending on medical history and needs etc) it's advisable to actually downgrade once your gap cover is in force. No need to have access to the 27 / 32 / 459 additional chronic conditions that the higher plans offer if you don't have those conditions, especially at the higher cost that they come with, and how with a good gap product can mirror & actually better the top-tier plans anyway.
  12. time for a custom frame, methinks. Would certainly be easy, as long as you get the pivot points right.
  13. YES. It is DEFINITELY worth it. The extra cost is negligible compared to the benefit you get. BUT: Not all gap covers are equal. The disco one is horrendous, as is the Momentum one. Some don't cover for PMB's, some do. Some cover deductibles and out-of-network hospital visits, some don't.
  14. 3 month general waiting period applies for any new gap entrant, normally.
  15. Depends entirely on your capacity for pain thanks to the bruising. Some recover faster, some take a bit longer (yeah, did a lot of research on this before I did it) Give it a go, and see what happens.
  16. which option, and which gap? How long have you been on the gap cover?
  17. Err'day. Doc reckons between 50 & 100 spoegs before the storage is emptied. I wanted the period of risky sexy time reduced as much as possible, and fokkin thankful I did.
  18. this bit depends entirely on what the anaesthetist and uro charge, and what your plan covers. If your plan covers you at 100% of the *insert med aid* rate, and your docs charge 200%, there will be a gap you'll have to either settle yourself, or cover through GAP cover. If your plan covers 200% and your docs charge 400% (very very possible) then you'll also have to cover the gap yourself, or through Gap cover.
  19. yeah, I'm not extending the same courtesy to cars and SUVs. That's just laziness, as there's not any blind spot that could remotely mirror the one on a big rig.
