As for a tire vs the raceking, there are not a lot of tires that can wash out as easily as a raceking. Especially on loose over hard pack. If you are interested I have a few almost new racing ralph snakekskins in the garage, pm me.

Have mostly heard good things about the fast track, it has a thin sidewall so keep that in mind. My combo at the moment is racing ralph snakeskin 2.25 front and racing ralph evo 2.25 back. I ride rocky terrain and haven't had any issues with sidewall cuts. Very light combo and the racing ralph rolls nicely, not as fast as a raceking though. You could also try racing ralph snakeskin front and maxxis ikon rear for much longer lasting tread. But as rouxtjie will say to you, snakeskin is a must, at least in the front for me, not as fat as he is ????

Hairy I change my stance on this. Someone I know swung out for some cyclists on the road of fairview early in the morning hours (some time ago) also not being visible and he crashed his car when he had to swing out again for oncoming traffic. He broke 7 ribs and was in ICU. If you ride without a light, abreast and become a hazard and put other road user's life in danger then you are a massive tool and deserve to be knocked into a vegetable state. You are selfish and inconsiderate and then these are the guys who moan about people not looking out for us. Get your head out your arse.

Why give a toss about other people putting their life in danger? The world is overpopulated as is and the people pulling off these stunts are usually douche bags. If you want to ride without a helmet, with no lights, in the middle of the road, 5 abreast then go the hell ahead and do it. 1 less idiot putting the lives of other people in danger is a good thing.

Exactly my point. Some people have the time, extra cash to "invest". You don't have the extra time, and the trouble of doing such a deal is too much for the reward. For some people it can make a difference.

Whether one buys it here and sell it here or sell it somewhere else is exactly the same thing. Only difference is now you see that the guy is selling it. I know it has a emotional attachment but he can do what the hell he wants with whatever you sold him. You sold it... It can be unethical but this is split with a thin line. Bought a second hand propero . Thanks for all the input. Only thing I am not looking forward to is having a helmet as common as a toyota fortuner. Got it for a steal though .

Ja, will try om a few, thanks, any stay away expensive helmets? Bell in my opinion is overpriced, padding is minimal and overall their lids don't scream out comfort or build quality, was very happy with my rudy project. Those things are extremely comfy.

Why do you guys like them? Read good reviews. Is there a big difference between the propero and the cheapest R500 model? Been very happy with specialized thus far.
