    The only advice I can give you is to start slowly.....by saying that, do a 3km ride with her and ad a km every week. Jack Russels can run for hours but you dont want to over run them. How old is she? I also started 3 years ago with my weimaraner and he also pulled me like crazy, but ever since I got the recall under control, we run without a leash at Majik Forest Cape Town.

    Cape Union Mart Adventure Store in Canal Walk have stock of the Fenix 3 HR (R10499). Don't think the Fenix 4 will be out shortly.... Please give feedback on the HR version for those who already purchased one? HR accuracy ect.

    Manne!!! Manne!!!! Ek kritiseer glad nie, ek gee maar net my opinie!!! Dag 3 was die beste dag van die 3 vir my, dit ongelooflik baie geniet, nie eers praat van die soetwyn by water punte nie. Ek stem 200% saam met Morne, dit kan net beter raak en ek hoop regtig dit doen. Was 'n GREAT naweek though!!

    So Louis.....where was al the pro's this year? Only 75 teams at the start? No race vibe afterwards, food was ok, very nice route all 3 days but they were waaaaayyy out with the elevation gain. Maybe next year again but was expecting more at the event. My rate: 4 / 10

    I also had updates but didn't reslove any of that kind of problems. Seems like ever since Fenix 3 came out, Garmin had a lot of software issues and problems. Suunto Ambit 3 NOTHING!!!

    Agree....metal strap to heavy!!! I would like the new Nylon Strap that comes with the new Tactix one..

    By saying that I fully agree, perfect weekend away for the whole family! Is this a tough race??? What domyou mean by underestimate? Heavy climbs? Route profile looks fairly fine for me, but one the day it might be different

    Thanks!! Will see how it goes, this will be part of training for Wine 2 Whales this year, first stage race with new partner and we are riding Wine 2 Whales together as well.....so this will be a test for us. Planning to do this race every year from now on, so lets hope it all goes well.

    Any beginners here? If started trail running but jeeeeeeezzzz thats something different from MTBing....tired legs, chin pain heart peaking more quickly!!! But still I'm enjoying it!!!
