Hi there, I've recently purchase a Garmin Virb Elite action camera from Takealot....we all know it was on special! LOL It comes with the standard mounts but I'm currently looking for the handle bar mount, I know everyone is talking about the Gopro converter that came with the device, but I tested it yesterday and it's not stable on the handle bar. Anyone know where I can look or find any mounts for an affordable price? As far as I know the Virb Elite is going to be discontinued soon.....so I need to get some fast. Hope you guys can help!

I got mounts that came with my camera and there is no Gopro adapter in the box. Where do you get it?

Now the next question will be..... Will the current Fenix 3 support these extra features in future update, for example the golf app????

I might be wrong but as far as I know the 510 is discontinued and been replaced by the 520. I had the 520 for one day and still prefer the 810

It can be removed....I phoned Garmin myself as well. The ring and glass can be replaced.

I dont think it is a the glass that gets the scratches but the metal ring..according to Cape Union Mart you can replace the metal ring when it gets to much scratches

Had the 520 for one day......prefer the 810 with touch screen, much easier to scroll through data fields than to oress hard on a button to scroll.

I have a question.....is it worth spending the extra cash for the sapphire model??

I love to MTB with my dog.....he is a 3 year old Weimaraner boy!! We normally go to Majik Forrest as it is dog friendly, he knows every turn by now. Sometimes we past other cyclist, but he is not to worried about them, just keep on running! One thing is he is very good with recall and that helps a lot. Had a Edge 520 for one day and took it back.....not such a great device, I prefer the touch screen to scroll through data field than pressing a button while riding. Go big or go home!!!! Get the Edge 810 or Edge 1000

I agree with Small Fry.....ever since I ride without any GPS device, I enjoy my cycling more....ride harder and stronger!!! Only problem is when it is race day I want to know how many km's is left.

Like your training plan and weekend plans! LOL Hardest part for me is the weekends.....difficult to watch rugby or any sport without a beer!

Cape Union Mart have a lot of specials on Solomons at the moment! I'm not a runner, but when I do a bit of trail running I run in Solomons!!! To me they are best!!! Comfortable and light
