  1. Tanner Foust is/was pretty good. I've seen him in some events on ESPN and other channels.
  2. The American version is quite good as well. http://redbullglobalrallycross.com/

  4. ONE HUNDRED AND EIGGGHHHHTY!! The late great commentator Sid Waddell made darts worth watching. One quote of many: "He's about as predictable as a wasp on speed." http://www.skysports.com/darts/news/12040/8289283/remembers-sid-waddells-most-legendary-lines-here

  6. Heavier version of one of my many faves Boys Keep Swinging. On the White Room 1995. Brilliant! from the very underrated Lodger album. Reeves Gabrels on guitar. David making smoking look cool.
  7. I'm glad I helped. Makes a change from me just being a smartarse. A slightly more conventional TOTP appearance by the Stranglers playing probably one of my top ten Stranglers' songs.
  8. Pedants corner: that's JJ on the drums, they've all swapped instruments Jet Black is playing Hugh's guitar, Hugh playing Dave's keyboard and Dave on the bass. They used to do it just about every time on TOTP. Truly excellent!

Would it be boastful of me to mention I've been to Phillip Island as well....2004. When Rossi won the championship....

Cal was truly magnificent I was so pleased to see him finally win. . Lorenzo looked as though he had a complete meltdown. Baz also had a great result. Watching the lumps of rubber coming off of Iannone's front tyre was truly frightening. I love this country and the track, I was there in 2003 from Thursday to Sunday with an all areas pass. Great memories. Lucio Cecchinello raced in the 125cc that year. The weather then was quite a bit better than yesterday...
  14. My assistant used to like to sing: "I hate you You hate me Barney gave me HIV So I kicked him in the nuts and I punched him in the head Now the purple f***er's dead". In a sweet lilting voice whilst she was tapping away at her PC.

He is the X factor, he could make an almost unridable machine work. Much like a certain Mr Doohan did. Iannone took Dovi out on the final lap in Argentina, Gigi must have been kicking him around the motorhome afterwards. But you're right, now he's won he's all of a sudden the hero.
  16. From Soul Mining with Jools Holland on Piano (as he is on the album version). Uncertain Smile Live: Album version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dz50N2_tCCg
  17. The genius that is Matt Johnson. Off to this on 2nd September https://www.ica.org.uk/whats-on/s-infected-movie-screening-and-qa-1 Oh yes.
  18. I hope you are being deliberately ironic? That's Ian Curtis.
  19. The son brings home the new girlfriend. Edit: 'cause sometimes I just can't spell.
  20. Here's a peer reviewed study about aluminium toxicity. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2782734/ The answers are there if you can wade through the academia.
  21. There's no proven health risks from aluminium cookware whether it be pans or coffee making equipment. Lots of wholly inaccurate scare stories though.
