    I'm in the same boat, choosing between a roof rack and a towbar. I drive a Ford Ecosport 2020 TDCI, with the spare wheel attached to the back door. If I decide to install a towbar, won't the spare wheel be in the way of my bike rack? Because I've heard of people complaining about un-hitching their trailer and the spare wheel gets in the way? Anyone here also driving a Ecosport (or knows of someone that does), that can tell me if the spare wheel will be a problem for a bike rack.

    And don't fall asleep while you riding. Happened to me a couple of times. Watch out for the dust at the start. My left eye was full of that Oudshoorn dirt. Almost rode the whole route with only 1 eye.🧐

    Busy playing Sekiro: Shadows die Twice, on my PS5. This is by far the most difficult game I have ever played. Think I'm getting to old for these type of games. 😡🤬

    That Sucks Big time. I can def relate to your pain. Mine was exactly the same. Right leg got numb, then pins and needles and then my leg wants to give in. And whenever i just lift my leg or just twist my hips, i got this extremely sharp pain from my lower back to my calf.. Forgot to say, i turned 41 this year. Looks like if you turn 40, its all downhill. ???? Let us know what the specialist say.

    Mine was exactly the same. The 2 little bones that hold my disk in place broke off completely. I guess it was overuse because of my trail running and i have Spondylolisthesis. ????. Whenever its cold in the mornings, i can really feel my back. But, i found that a hot water bag works wonders for my sore back..

    I am so happy I found this Thread. Had a Spinal Fusion L5 S1 in February this year, at the Spinal Clinic in PTA. . It's sore as hell the first couple of weeks. I couldn't do anything on my own. Was stupid and started playing golf again ( not allowed to run anymore, and getting frustrated to just sit and walk), then my back started acting up again, and I got immense pain whenever I bent forward or standing up from my couch. So I stopped my golf immediately, (as you will see I am selling my brand new golf shoes on here????.). Will go back riding again. But i will stay on the road bike. Think its a bit better for your back than a MTB. So i am a bit un-decided on which road bike to get. a Aero bike or a light weight bike? Was hoping one of you guys ride with either one and could shed some light.????

    Couldn't agree more.. Would love to see more of the back of the pack riders than always the top 5 guys and girls. Like the Comrades. I always watch the last 20min. Those are the real Comrades heroes..
