  1. Go 500. I dont have much use for the bit extra on the 510.
  2. Why is the whole world scared of lardasses? If you are fat and you make my life miserable surely I have a reason not to want to sit next to you. Make them buy wider seats - and dont feed them!
  3. Just need oars and a big black oke with a whip.
  4. I am not going to make Wednesday live, so as an trial for the possible future format I will do it before and the time should go as a Virtual Partner(?).
  5. One must also consider the unmeasurable "how far will you go". Although it will be hard to test there is a definite theoretical risk for cancer later in life with especially Growth Hormone and maybe Testosterone and EPO. Some people will just go so much further. Slightly off topic: Is it really likely that the female peleton is so untainted and clean?

    Who remembers?

Spatz. Think the resident band was 909. I had the hots for the lead singer. Blondie. Warrior Arms - I can remember going in....

    Who remembers?

Farm Inn. Strip shows at the President Hotel (only down to nipple caps). Carlton League against Iscor. Northcliff Bowls. Sterland in Hilbrow. Grensvegter photo books. Champagne bowl in Margate. Aaah Margate...
  8. Pity so few people were brave enough. Always is good training and Centurion has this one running smooth by now. The drag from the stables always hurts.
  9. That jersey is always biased
  10. Problem is that most people don't like the real answers.
  11. I wonder who is fixated on the money.... Also wonder what he does if he gets seen on time and more importantly what would happen if this was to become the norm and little madmarc broke his arm. He will have to wait until everybody with appointments (and moronic attitudes) have been seen and then asked to pay up front because his Dad has proven to be an idiot.
  12. 1) You really needed the op - according to "the best in the country" and AN Other. This implies you either already had damage or it was impending. 2) 310k for surgical fees will be some record for any routine surgery - clearly you had a very complicated situation. 3) 8months off work is very long - clearly not a routine situation. 4) Being replaced at work has nothing to do and can hardly be part of your issue with the medical treatment. So: did the outcome of your condition change (are you as bad as you would have been)? If your Dr was negligent he quickly went from the best to a knob. Surely his practise has now died away. I think you may be pissed at nature dealing you a bad hand. PS: I have always wanted to see this Ranking List for Surgeons - where can I find it?
  13. Oh OK. Then it must be true - they must be wrong. Nice contribution from you. Really cleared things up. You feel anybody else should be called knobs?
  14. Who chose the surgeon? Based on what? Were you informed pre-op? Did you get more than one opinion? Hope those "knobs" never have to treat any of your family. I bet you never followed the post-op instructions. People with oversimplified opinions normally are the type that does their own thing. Was the 310k mostly for the "knobs"?
  15. PMB is based on the underlying condition (and thus coding). Most trauma is PMB. Non-trauma depends on the condition.
  16. Many provisos regarding this - but roughly yes.
  17. I really think you over generalising now. Yes you had a gross experience and without knowing any facts, we accept your assesment of the specific case, but I can state 100% that money is not the motivating factor for most Dr's. Also NOBODY will daily practise as a Dr if they really don't care. Remind yourself that most Dr have the capacity to change careers and do something else if they really are fed-up with what they are doing.
  18. Often ER Dr's are relatively inexperienced and work under lots of pressure. The legal proffesion and public force them to practise defensive medicine. This leads to many unneaded tests to exclude all possible problems. The specialist is better equiped to deal with these problems. If somebody underdiagnose they get sued and end up paying. If they "overtest" you and your fund pay. This is the reality of a system where lawayers advertise they will sue for free (on a outcome basis).
  19. You are paying for many things that connot be quantified. I will gladly go into them if anyone is interested. Fact is your medical aid is ripping you of. This is a PMB condition and they are by law compelled to pay the whole account. Your Dr has no contract with the medical aid and by law cannot collude on prices. If they did not discuss pricing with you pre-op you have some leeway in negotiating prices. Funny how money only becomes important after you have been fixed. Before surgery it is always " just do the best you can" and "only the best please".
  20. As Borat would have said: I am going to come from behind and hurt you...
  21. PC yes. I am sure the problem is on my side but still I have a half download of whatever big file. It would be great if it can continue from there rather than start at scratch. MWEB movie downloads work like that.
  22. Drafting is very acceptable, except when not available then bottles are prefered to cans.
  23. Dave: maybe they can look at a way to pick up a half download. If you loose your download it all restarts from the beginning. Can be quite frustrating.
  24. I am there. Twice down to "die stalle"?
