Yeah man, sorry I came across a little heavy. Wasn't my intention. If I got 1 Ront (South African) every time someone hummed or whistled the circus theme or asked me if I'm joining a circus ... I would be a very rich man. It's a little frustrating when that is all people see. .... and to the question if I am joining a circus ... I'll possibly perform in a circus one day, but I probably won't be unicycling ... I'd more likely be doing some juggling act

I'm sorry ... but you guys that think this have it just plain wrong. When you're riding your MTB do you rack yourself ? No ... funny that. Neither do we. We're *sitting* on a saddle. In the 8 years that I have been riding unicycle I have racked myself a grand total of twice, doing something stupid. Never while riding the wildest downhill stuff I have ever attempted.

An awesome documentary on off-road unicycling. Where it began, how the skills and equipment have changed. Starting in the 80's the sport of mountain unicycling has come a very long way to what we have today. Worth a watch IMO

I think you guys are being a harsh on the OP, and making things quite personal. I understand the frustration/annoyance with IT systems that don't function the way they should. I also think the Shop's response was a out of line and was a good attempt at igniting a fire.

How about some unicycling in the Alps ? This guy is from Lichtenstein and posts a number of videos riding in the alps. Some insane stuff, check from around the 1 minute mark ....

Some of the guys in the video showed some good skills. For me, nothing beats riding a unicycle down some technical steep downhill In many respects I think it is far safer than doing the same on a bike. Although I have had to walk off the mountain twice after bad falls, with 1 ending in a visit to the emergency rooms. Both falls happened on fairly flat ground trying to do something easy but not concentrating properly. I've owned a MTB for 2 years, and have taken it on 1 mountain ride. Otherwise I use it for commuting. When I ride the mountain it's always on my Uni. Each to his own hey

I have to admit that it is a cheap-ish Sansui that I bought as a separate item when buying a hi-fi system back in the early 90's. It's not what an audiophile would use, but does the job when I want to listen to any vinyl's I have

I have his Counterfeit EP on vinyl stuck in the back of a cupboard, along with my turntable. I really wish he had done some more though.
