I see entries are open for the 13th October Was planning to do it, but after seeing the entry ticket, not so sure Distance is 11/70/5 Entry is R500. How does this compare to 5150 ? Opinions welcome on if the entry is worth the event.

I rode the legends climb in a race and ran it in a 21k as well, There is nothing as far as I know that it that steep in Gauteng, not even loveday street in Pretoria. Closest is the climb in pretoria west to the tower (close to Mabopane/Jan smuts intersection) Phone Anton at Cyclehouse if interested (012 546 9855) as they train there regularly

Was there yesterday for the first time in 3 years. Very nice singletrack and also wondered where the mud came from. But all round a nice day out and enjoyed it, and the egg roll at the end was a lifesaver

This morning at 4:25 I was cycling up Lyttleton road from Clubview and passed two guys on mtb's where Lyttleton road change to Jean avenue under the Ben Schoeman Freeway. Not many riders train at that ungodly hour and my training buddy is going overseas for a week or so, and then his wife is due to deliver in 10 weeks. Would like a back-up riding group once he is gone or struggling with the new one. So if you are on the Hub, and can accomodate another rider in the mornings now and again, please send me a PM. The ZENEX cyclelab group is an option, but they oly start at 5, and end a bit late. Thanks!

I see there is Gautrain busses between 2am and 8pm, problem is if a match start at 7pm, you miss the last buss

We are going to watch the rugby game there on saturday. Question: Can you take the Gautrain to Hatfield Station and then take a gautrain bus to the stadium? Or should I bike there (just to make the topic cycling related)?
