  1. Ten more years of power cuts Dec 13 2007 09:36 PM Andrew Kenny http://www.fin24.co.za/articles/default/display_article.aspx?Nav=ns&ArticleID=1518-25_2238346 Because there is such an acute shortage of generation capacity, because electricity demand is growing steadily and because it takes at least 6 years to build the baseload stations we need, it will be 10 years or more before we have sufficient reserve margin to end the load shedding. On Tuesday President Mbeki apologised publicly for the power shortages, saying the government had not allowed Eskom to build new stations when it wanted to. He said, "Eskom was right. We were wrong". Now this is a jolly decent thing for him to say, but it is wrong on two counts. First, Mbeki suggests that it was rather difficult to tell whether we needed new power stations. It wasn't. It was blindingly obvious. Second, he is too chivalrous in taking all the blame upon his government; half must fall on Eskom.

  3. Sad sad news... I have just come from Dr. Bornman's place and my wheel has to go in for surgery ... Dr. Bornman said thing's don't look to good and that he'll try his best otherwise we might have amputate ... So please people may your thoughts and prays be with my wheel. Anyway enough of that cr@p! I must say Johan's a very nice chap and very very helpful, the Dr. even gave me a little lesson on wheel building... He'll sort the wheel no problem and this weekend I might be pushing a whopping 100W's... Told him to throw in a conversion there on the hub. Thanks Johan... Jason2007-12-13 12:41:41

  14. Thanks Windbreaker, I see there's a little hole under Pic 2, I just used a nail file to push the button/knob down that you find on Pic 1 (Center) and then it slides off.
  15. OK, I would like to know. When setting up a Powertap you connect Pic 2 to Pic 1 as shown below and then mount the little yellow computer on to Pic 2 and then off you go and instantly you start seeing, well in my case the little bit of power I poses. Anyway that's not the point. I would like to know if you can disconnect the two? I've tried with no luck and I don't want to brake it. Is there a way? Can it be done? Or is it a case of once they're together you're screwed?
  16. LOL This is is the US, Texas? So you're on the wrong side dude
  17. Finally.. I managed to photoshop the blur out
