OK... <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> You just throw some Corn flakes, Strawberry Pops, Wors, Mash, Carrots, Pears, Steak, Spices, Tomato's, Rice, Mushrooms, Cheese, Eggs, Bananas, Flour, Onions, Pasta, Strawberry, Custard, Sausages, Bread, Bacon, Mince, Halumi, Lettuce, Cucumber, Butternut, Slap chips, Honey, Mustard, Chocolate cake, Magnum, Crunchie, Powerade juice, Lemon and just to add that extra flavor some Klippies and a touch of salt and pepper... Just mix it all together in 75L of water in your bath and let it simmer for 3 days... Very delicious

  5. Found out Jules did the Giro a few years back ... My works cut out now. Is epoh still doing the tour for Bob? Hope so...
  6. I have chap here at work who is looking for someone to join him on the Panorama Tour. The chap that he was supposed to do it with pulled out with ankle problems apparently . He is an average rider who is looking to just complete the tour... Say 6hrs a day per stage except for the TT, I hope . If anyone is interested please PM me or post here and then I can hook you chaps up ... Remember he is not a mountain goat and looking to do the balls to the wall thing from the gun. He just wants to finish.

Agree wolverine. Thought last year was maybe a little bit better, especially wrt the parking. The directions on the web site said turn left after 20+ km's and when we turn left we get told to do a U-turn and go back...... and with the finish being on the main road where all the cyclists are chatting about the race - the usual after race stuff, we have trucks coming past at 120kph, don't think that was a good idea... last year the finish was off the main road in front of the gun club, road was not that busy... Dunno if I'll do this race next year...

  10. I see in the new Bicycling we have a picture of our very own Spinnekop... Page 100 bottom left corner between a HI-Q and Di-Data rider... with his race face on . Ladies, I'm charging R120 for a full 1m X 1m blow up with frame and I can try organise a autograph for you as well. So if you want to be in the next Bicycling edition make sure you at the front of the group and not sucking wheel at the back.

Very different race report indeed... but I like this... "The race was going rather smoothly until another team started to attack the bunch after just a few kilometers. All hell broke loose and the race was on" Thanks Barend!! jou mooi ding!!

Heard Chris Froome say his grandmother rides faster than this and she's 90 ... Was quite funny at the time... Was a pretty easy race, felt like one massive club ride... Spoke to Taylorchick, Grapkas, 101%, Hanco, AndreT and a few others. Thought AndreT had a really good ride after puncturing and pulling back I tried to sit on his wheel and got dropped , then I realised my brake pads were brushing up against my rear wheel ... Must of been that guy that tried to bunny hop over my rear wheel, but good ride Mr T. . Thanks to the Ceadar Vadek support vehicle for the spare wheel . Last 10km's was TT in to a head wind which was most probably the toughest part of the race for me.
  15. Just stay in Sabie and ride to Graskop and back on a 53-11... It will feel like 400km's and that should be enough for base and weight and even power training... . Don't say I didn't try and help
  16. MuxMan, I agree... well worth the drive out there. R20 per person, R10 for the car and then the rest is priceless ... Our own little Pyrenees here in Gauteng. It's a 58km loop, sounds short but it's a tough work out with some lovely scenery, if you lucky you might get to watch the animals do it like they do on the discovery channel .
  17. Sadly epoh won't be there tomorrow... The dude came off in the Vasbyt (151km) today at about 40kph on his new bike . Some guy rode in to the back of him with about 10km's to go. He was ridng well and now all this crap... Gonna miss you dude... Recovery quickly for BOB
