  1. A while back after trying Whasps for the first time I said because of the taste I wouldn't use them again. Anyway, I did. Still almost gagged (Crazy Berry), but did get a good boost. Would be happier if taste improved. Consistency good though. Will probably continue to use Whasps 'cos are local and hopefully taste will improve with time?
  2. M & F paid out in full for a new frame when I cracked mine loosening a bolt. Quite impressive. However, they were impressed that I didn't claim for a whole new bike (maybe I should have, but that wasn't right).
  3. You're right, I was being facetious. However, some noise needs to be made if no money is forthcoming. Hope it comes right soon.
  4. Speak to Brandon . He wants no issues!
  5. Marius, if your eyes are stable and you are SHORT-sighted, I'd say go for it (lots of other things to consider, such as eye and general health, corneal thickness, tear quality etc etc). However, if you are FAR-sighted (hyperopic, ie your lenses are thicker at the centre than at the edges) I'd suggest look at contact lenses. There is not currently a satisfactory procedure if you are hyperopic and under age 50. However, best to consult a reputable surgeon and not one that will operate no matter what. Good luck.
  6. Get some good gloves with adequate cushioning. Will make a huge difference (Try out the Specialized BG gloves. I cut out the padding from some old BG gloves and sewed them onto new Giant gloves. Works like a dream, New Specialized were way too expensive!).
  7. Discuss the issue with your optometrist. There are many different types of lenses (materials, shapes etc), some of which are better for riding than others depending on your eye shape, tear quality, prescription etc etc. There is not one make that suits everybody, your lens needs to be properly assessed on your eyes. PM me if you have a specific query (I'm an optometrist ), but rather see your own optometrist.
  8. Can't see that you're too tall for the bike. Good choice BTW. It comes in a large which would probably suit you. Best to try one out if you can but I'm sure it would be OK.
  9. As any hooker will tell you, there's no such thing as a free ride
  10. Naah, woosie stuff. Cocaine
  11. That fan will make you go bliksems fast ....... backwards.
  12. (whisper) Can I play too? Count me in if in PMB. Dbn too far.
  13. If it is true DCM (OK, I assume it's them) need to be taken to task, but let's get the facts. Just because many may say so, doesn't mean it is so.
  14. Just a suggestion, make sure of your facts before making accusations in a public forum. May otherwise come back to bite you as we've seen before .
  15. OK, so next time I see someone drop a Gu Whasp Whatever wrapper I'll drop my shorts and I bet they'll never do that again
  16. That is one serious bike! Looks strong enough to freeride on and with some tweaking (it is a prototype) should be a huge contender for king of local sales. Well done Patrick
  17. It's just Slow, Captain
  18. Shame, maybe we all need to tell Wonderwoman we're all her friends
  19. Who really gives a sh!t about LA though. AM is local and such an accusation can negatively affect him (business-wise etc etc). Not saying I'm an AM supporter, but false claims can be damaging. Now if you had to accuse me of being a supporter of Julius Malema ......
  20. If I was falsely accused of doping I'd also be pissed, so apology would be expected. Don't see anything untoward from AM, I'd have done the same if he did indeed take umbrage. Good of you to apologise publicly though.

  23. Sorry, I'm a dissenter, looks too much like a Xmas tree. Too busy, too much to distract the eye. Keep it simple with your logo the main focus, after all, that's why you're making them in the first place isn't it?
