  3. Great photos. Good luck with the project. I've already contributed 2 bikes to the underprivileged, unfortunately not willingly.
  4. We want a photo of her on the couch please . Congrats.
  5. Glad all got sorted. Seeing my own arterial blood would not make for a happy day
  6. That leg vessel is a vein, not an artery. Palpate it and you'll find it's soft. Easiest way to check is to block it distal to the heart and watch, it won't fill with blood, ie it's a vein.
  7. I found it worked best when standing, although I was shaking after all that pomping
  8. Consider donating plasma only. I'm a rabies donor. You'll be injected with dead rabies virus and once you've developed the antibodies they'll be harvested from you. Process takes a bit longer than whole blood donation, but has no effect on riding. Gives you more time to eat their biscuits .
  9. Have had no problems sealing Conti non-UST MK tyres with Stans. Do as the video link posted above.
  10. Nice cars
  11. After they've panel-beaten it the colour won't make any difference anyway.
  12. Seized bearings?
  13. Enduro bearings from moorewoodkid are great. Use them on my bike.
  14. "I'm a loser" by the Beatles, just for Julius .
  15. Bring it on!! Just wish I could afford one of your great systems. Maybe one day .....
  16. This sad news is so k@k. My condolences to family and friends. RIP.
  17. The Garmin is cheaper, but you get what you pay for. I'd go Polar.
  18. Some like it rough .......
  19. Apply the levers to drag the brakes a bit and clean them. Not ideal but works quite well.
  20. Polar CS400
  21. I can send you a Polar one that is freely available. PM me your email address.
  22. Battery life on a Polar was the deciding factor for me. I know I would go for a ride and have the Garmin konk out on me if I had one. Polar the way to go
  23. I must try that too, I've obviously been doing it wrong and have been using Octane for cycling. Your suggestion sounds way better .
  24. It happens to me at robots too.
  25. As he is 62 I bet you he has cataracts and that's why he was blinded by the sunlight and didn't see the oncoming cyclists. I wonder who his eyecare practitioner is and when last he had his eyes checked?
