  1. As he is 62 I bet you he has cataracts and that's why he was blinded by the sunlight and didn't see the oncoming cyclists. I wonder who his eyecare practitioner is and when last he had his eyes checked?

    Jagwire

I've used Jagwire disc pads, they're OK and are cheap. For general training they're fine but if you need decent stopping power one needs to use a decent make (I've found Swisstop to be good).

    S-Works

WTF difference does it make? Put on the wheels that do the job as you want it done. Nobody really cares what your bike looks like (OK, so I'm having a bad day ). Just enjoy your bike, it's a great one.
  4. Quick answer: Gym. You need to strengthen those muscles and ligaments. Disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm talking about

  8. Stans rims work with either UST or non-UST tyres. Only Stans rim-tape required, rim strip not necessary with either. I run a UST on the front and non-UST on the back.
  9. Different saddles contact at slightly different points, so I wouldn't advise getting a new saddle at this point. You're better off sticking with what your g@t is used to and getting good shorts.
  10. How can Gauteng levy that R75 fee? For what? Either you are registered with CSA or you aren't. CSA licencing allows you to ride, not Gauteng, surely?
  11. Have had that happen on a MTB, damn nuisance. It's worth checking the lock-ring tension occasionally. Anything can come loose with the bike's vibration, on or off-road.
  12. I can attest to Brighter-Lights workmanship. He copied my RockShox lever, superb quality and detail.
  13. Hey, whatever jingles your bells but for me this is as much use as sh!t on a stick.
