  2. and better yet....a few months ago a person that I have known for years, told me one Saturday morning at a coffee shop to f....off in the presence of many other friends, because we didn't agee about how the coffee shop applied the smoking laws....and till this day not even an appology from this guy either....only insults from accross the road [/quote'] Nee jong, ek was daar. Dit is darem GLAD nie wat gebeur het nie.

  10. http://software.bareknucklebrigade.com/rabbit.applet.html You can trap at cadence of 260?????
  11. Why not? because then it is harder to go UP suikerbossie.
  12. why do you want to go faster than 85 down suikerbossie?
  13. fat cant be converted into muscle or muscle into fat. you can lose fat and build muscle and the other way round. but the main thing is looking and feeling better....it think fat% is better measurement.
  14. I also use Joe Friels cyclist training bible, but it is from there that i got the idea of one hard and one soft. Or should I get the afrikaans version and read it again?
  15. thnx, i am now 2 hard session ready!
  16. Hard training => 90 minutes to 2 hours. intervals (10/15 minutes) or hill repeats of 7/8 minutes on an at least 5% hill at high HR. Stuff like that. No idea where 1x is hiding. Send him a mail a while ago but still waiting for a reply . Killarney is easy but I try to do it while only pedaling with one leg!
  17. I try to do one hard day followed by a easy day to recover again followed by a hard day. I always take the day after a race off completely and usually the day before. Questions: 1. How do I squeeze Killarney (Wednesday) into the program if the race was on Sunday. 2. If you do 2 races in a weekend. Is it beneficial or does it actually weakens you? Remember that we are talking about me and not David Garret here! thnx
  18. go 4 a second hand bike. I wouldnt even think twice about it. Personally i would say rather go for a good alu frame than carbon. REALLY not such a big diff. more hype and a huge price difference. Pimp out on the wheels, most important part of the bike, me thinks. gruppo - 105/ultegra mix should be perfect. Dont go below 105. I now ride sram rival - cheap and I prefer it to my Dura Ace. I you can get a deal on that it would be great. should be easy to get a Great bike for around 10K. Just might take some time and I do suggest that you take you time rather than rush. You can contact Avron at 021-4480812. The also got great prices and deals in 2nd hand bikes. Although they are in cape town i'm sure they will give you an idea what you can expect. FanieFiets2009-01-12 06:46:51
  19. same here, their service is excellent and there prices NOT that high. I bought my first lekker bike at CL 3 years ago. Also bought random stuff at their branch in Brackenfell. When I popped in the other day Gary Marescia remembered my name from 3 years ago!!!! I was at loss of words. The manager, who was the same as at brackenfell, also always remembers my name and is very helpful. Only gripe is that they are a bit out of my way so i cant get there often.
