  1. If you keen I bought multiple ratios , got a brand new set 39/52 you can have at a steal .
  2. I use the 2013 Red , 10/11 speed chain rings are much the same . They do make campag specific but that is BCD related rather than 10/11 speed .If you buy the LOOK chain rings you use one set for both .
  3. I use them on my 695 and they are awsome , 10 pick up's on the big ring so no shifting issues .
  4. Only three more sleeps ......
  5. Cape cycles got their first shipment today ! Word on the street is 75 sets ,
  6. Very nice resort , very nice place to ride and have good times with the family . BEWARE of the monkeys , don't leave anything open ever . Not even for one second , the staff also use this as a excuse to steal your booze . The monkeys that got in by us only drink the finest wines and Jack Daniels , but leave cookies and sweets .
  7. Tall boy carbon wasn't bike of the year because it's oaky , check out What Mountain Bike magazine they will expand on why it's considered to be the finest duel 29er of 2011. These are super bikes ,you won't be sorry .
  8. After you have fitted adaptors and all the other bits and pices with the cost's involved is it realy lighter ? It must cost more than fitting a world cup XX with double the maintenance . Can a lefty go on a bike trailer ? Just asking
  9. No need for hubbers to bash the product , seems Ricky is doing a pretty good job all by himself .
  10. Really sad for a JHB store , I've had dealings with Burry's dad with their store at the coast and I would reccomend anyone to go to them . Showing the JHB boys a little something about good business .
  11. Tall Boy 29er duel 11.2kg Hi Ball 29er hard tail 9.6 kg It all costs money , the more you spend the less they weigh .
  12. I'm Mr Minaar will agree too !
  13. Go for the Santa Cruz , just because you can ! I love my two !
  14. Sound like a problem with the mechanic who set up the bike not the group set . Mine does not do it on my easton or zipp wheels, get the bike to a certified mechanic .
  15. Same issue with my gator skins , donated them to another chap and bought a set of Vittoria EVO CX 320TPI from CWC at the same price R450 the foldable model . I will never look back . My 695 has never felt better .
  16. Try and get a demo ride on each . Campag will cost the most to keep going where you can interchange chains and some other bits on Sram and Shimano . For me Sram has the looks and feels alot more crisp than the Dura Ace set up. But try and ride each and choose for yourself .
  17. Santa Cruz is da bomb , I have the orange one . Much nicer and lighter than the Niner .
  18. Also tried the LOOK pedals , very very nice . Not gonna ride SPD's again .
  19. It's a good price , but the local guys won't be any help should it crack or break . Also check out the Santa Cruz Hi Ball ,
  20. It's tough to get a set group together for the night rides , but i'm in for next Thursday ! Rietvlei is a excellent venue for night rides , the trails are clean and well run in .

It's still a bargin ! I guess you get what you pay for . The clothing per team must be close to R4000.00 per team that they give you . The route is superb , and I don't mind paying for the experience .
  22. The full BLUE loop at Thaba , it's about 34 Km . It's if you go out on the greeen route and add all the blue bits to it ,
  23. Sounds right , we got 90km . Not cool when you had planned to race 80 km .
  24. How does a race organiser get the race distance wrong by more than 10% ??? And he gets it wrong on two events , twice in one day ??? This is unbelievable , How do you not measure your own route .....
