Thisd is true. They also have some very old, brand new stock with the barcodes completely faded, Some of the items are absolute Gold which are near impossible to find nowadays like high wrist aero short finger gloves, Neoprene winter gloves, Speedplay pedals and aero covers etc etc

hahaha I also thought so until my mate who is a runner pointed out to me that the "training shoe", which looks very similar and still costs over 3k isn't the same as the "racing" shoe which has the carbon plate in the sole. Told him the price is absolutely ridiculous, he then pointed to my bike and shrugged his shoulders. My only comeback was that my bike lasts more than 800kms unlike his shoes.

I speak under correction but if I remember correctly, once you open it up yourself, You void all warranty on your trainer. I've never stripped one down myself but I'm sure many guys have, Can't imagine it being too expensive to get the "experts" at Nsquared to sort out and still keep warranty(If it is within the warranty period still ofcourse)
