I may not have been selected for World Champs in Aus this weekend, But I'm going to have to pay almost the same as it would have cost me to go to Aus if I am to complete my 12th CTCT (The REAL World Champs, Not the wannabe's in Aus) in a row. Correct, We need passionate cyclists and sportsman in those administrative roles. My buddy is supposed to go to World Track Champs next month, He has had to contact CSA himself, Instead of them contacting him. He needs to go to Words to get points to qualify to take part in the Paralympics, He has sent CSA 5 E-Mails to their 1 E-Mail and in their response, they still never answered the questions he needs answers to. It really is a sad state of affairs, really is. ** Rant Over and apologies as this is clearly off topic.

My point has got nothing to do with liking him or not, I started the Willie Smit thread because of all his hard work and how great it was to see behind the scenes etc, It's 100% got to do with the fact that after nationals, All over social media on a video blasted CSA because of the medals and the quality of them, and has never since apologized on the same channels he took to lambaste them on. But now expects to be selected to represent the same body who he continues to drag through the mud week in week out. His mindset of entitlement and then throwing his toys all over social media is embarrasing for a professional athlete to say the least.

100%. As of late (Past few months) he has been having a dig at CSA and how incompetent they are ( I think most agree anyway) and the selection panel and process used to select the team for World Champs. In all honesty, After that video he posted after SA champs where he tried so hard to burn the medal but obviously never got it right, So chucked it in the bin (black bag) because of it's "poor quality" and because it had "SA Road and Para-cycling champs" on it, I'm not sure why he thinks CSA would select him fopr Worlds anyway. As far as I'm aware having been a sportsman my whole life and being snubbed of national team caps myself for reasons out of my control, At no stage is any sports board OBLIGED to select athletes. And you do yourself even more harm than good when you throw your toys like a little kid all over asocial media, then still expect those same people you just gaslit, to select you to represent them!! The oke has MAJOR issues.

Wonder when his court case against CSA starts and if he will also throw this medal in the bin/ ask the council workers to go dump it in the big Kimberley Hole(his words in an Insta rant because the medal had "SA road and para cycling champs" engraved on it) after trying to burn it 1st??

Yes, Quite a while ago. Neville went and worked for Nsquared for a bit and is now in Holland. Sean started an online shop and was out of stock and taking people's money for stocvk he didn't have and also sent someone a fake dropper post and not the branded 1 as advertised but was in the correct box. Not sure if all the guys got their money back but I know he claimed liquidation. I'll try find the link on here somewhere.

On a serious note though. For a guy who has been struggling to pay you back the initial money he scammed you out of and clearly he needed the money, How is he going to afford to pay you back all of that money when he gets paid? Unless he got a really good job (employers obviously never googled him as I suggested they may) and with his 1st paycheck, giving away 5k+(not even counting the other 2 guys), this after not working for however long which put him in the situation which started all this mess in the 1st place, Will not affect him financially. Sorry but I get a feeling there will be a few more stories before this is paid off, or the request for a payment plan.

100% the latter. When I had a coach i couldn't leave home at 6, come home at 10 and say I did 4hrs where I actually ride time may only have been 2hr30 because for the other 1hr30 I was sitting in Camps Bay or Sea Point during December holidays taking the longest it ever takes a human to consume a cup coffee o coffee due to outside interferences LOL. But genuinely, Ride time. Training Peaks and even Strava will only record your ride time as time in the saddle, Not elapsed time.

Let's hope for "Lionels" sake that he doesn't need to ever seek employment again because if a company google searches him, well then, unless it's a company owned by an Uncle who works offshore on an oil rig, pretty sure he won't get the job.

I see @ysteryetiwas online just 10mins ago, He says "I'm not running away" but he isn't answering the questions we all want him to even though we already know the answer. For example why did he "sell" the same item to 3 different people? Selling to one, using the money and then the buyer isn't happy so you need to refund and don't have the funds any longer I can "understand" to a certain extent, But selling to 3 and all 3 never got the item begs the question, @ysteryeti was there even a frame and fork to begin with or did you get those images somewhere?
