    If you guys are interested in snakes, this is a great page to follow on Facebook... helluva interesting and I've learnt an awful lot just from following it the past year or so. Snake encounters are pretty common in SA and education is paramount... that's a big part of what the page is about.     I like the Womens Wally and the 4:50 cut-off time should also have people a little better prepared. Don't really get the 9-10hr medal, but it's good to have the medal names a little more representative of South African running heading forward.

    Hahaha... I can only imagine how this ends. I've done some speed sessions on my treadmill, the moment I head over 15/16kmph I start feeling very unsure of myself and controlling my positioning becomes a bit more challenging. Can only imagine how ropey it might get going up towards 20kmph on an incline and being close to blacking out at the same time... I'll come film it Barry

    Sprint up Northcliff hill... when you think you're going to pass out and puke, just crank it up a little more, and even then again after if you can. Should get you up pretty close to your max This is obviously incredibly scientific

    There's definitely different levels of dopers... You get the denialist/bully/unrepentant types - Lance/Valverde/Vino And then you get the guys who say sorry, try amend, do their time in quiet etc - Ullrich/Millar/Basso Whole lot easier to welcome the latter back, and especially when they don't improve despite no longer doping... Everyone's entitled to their own view, but for me, I don't like that Valverde won, or that Vino won while we're at it. Feel free to support people who are rightfully scrutinized - Me I will find someone else among the many athletes worthy of my praise.

    SeaBee, the design you are looking for is called Petal Power - there is a ladies top, Chido (buff like headscarf), Cycling Cap, UV sleeves and even a running Peak available in the design. We do still have stock of them, but it's unfortunately no longer on Weardirect. Can you drop me a pm with your contacts and I will get Pieter to get in touch with you about sending you one... else I am not sure if you are near the Cape Town store anytime soon, but they should also have some stock remaining (always just call ahead though to check)

    It's the one thing we have sort of managed to stop... Levy keeps our top players on long contracts and they only leave on our terms. And they generally get replaced. Would of been lovely if we still had Modric and Bale these last four years Bale of course came from you guys too though

    Everton, West Ham... also spent plenty, hasn't worked out. We wanted Grealish, but 30million pounds was rejected, for a championship player... I can live with that. Is he better than Winks? Maybe one day, right now, probably not. Spurs problem is simple, we have a serious wage cap, it's been released a little to keep the Kanes and Eriksens content for now, but there are very few players who would improve our team or even our bench that fit into our wage structures... and yes, we also have a stadium to pay off.

    That early shocker from Lloris really set the tone... we were always going to be outplayed in midfield and having to chase a game so early you're in big trouble with Messi and Suarez lurking. Glad we at least made a fight of it the second half, but yeah, all these injuries really do expose our pretty thin squad. The player above all we need a duplicate of is Dembele... but there aren't a lot of those around.

    Never underestimate the pull of United... as much as we all enjoy laughing at them, they're a massive club, with resources and money very few can match. Their problem at the moment is all the best managers are largely spoken for... Some good options that might be tempted I reckon: Conte, Zidane (not sure this is the right situation for him though), Deschamps, Low, Simeone... there are always options with the money they have at their disposal.

    It's very expensive... all the setup, admin and prep costs for one shirt are nearly the same as for 100 shirts, so it really eases the costing up when you can spread those out across a number of items.     Spurs vs Barca tonight... I'm not usually fearful of anyone on our 'home' turf, but with a long list of injuries I'm not too optimistic for tonight. Dele, Eriksen, Dembele, Vertonghen all out - I fear we might be a little out played in midfield. Should be a good game regardless though, both teams only really play one way...

    Start easier and speed up in the second half if you're up to it... like most things, overcook your legs early on and you will pay the price later
