Fair enough. Seriously though, no performance change between mtb and road shoes and pedals. Unless you have a cheapy pair of mtb shoes with a flexible sole compared to a more rigid road shoe.
Phone Kevin at Cycle Fusion and ask him what they go for new and what a fair price is. He sells the Solis range so he could probably provide back-up and support.

Perfect. I have been eyeing out the dirt 'pavements' along most of the roads in the ares, that may have to do for now and slowly venture down new routes.
I am new to the Northriding area and stay at the bottom of Hyperion road at the moment. Looking to find a group to ride with. I am stuffing slow at the moment (just returned from a UK winter) and only have a mtb but super keen to meet up with some chaps. Weekend rides for now and once summer returns some early morning weekday rides.
Could be legit. Bike prices in the UK are substantially cheaper than here, plus bike shop staff there get insane discounts. Could be a business on the side buying parts at discounted rate, assembling a complete bike then selling it off privately. Not saying it is, but it may be.
