  2. Really like Edwards vids. To see him live at champs in the break is one thing, he looked so comfy, but hearing the numbers now OMW!!!! It really takes A LOT to ride at that level
  3. Really nice race, We had an excellent marshal on the bike with us in the A bunch, Dankie Nico. My only RANT is with all the cocks who chucked their gels and *** out when they were done with it, Naai man ouens, keep it in your pockets, HEL!

  6. So I received my Irwin IAW30 on friday morning. Really cool service from Eugene, big ups to him. The wheels came with tape, brake blocks, skewers and a wheel bag made from really durable material. The wheels weigh 1720g with bar tape but no skewers. Fitting my 25mm Gatorskin foldables was super easy too. Went out for a ride and boy o boy do these wheels just roll and roll and roll and roll............. The hub sound take some getting used to especially for those around you. I LOVE THE SOUND THOUGH. sounds like a hornets nest due to the super fast enagement (60teeth*6pawls) I got them at the special price they were running last month, R5999 which is a steel for wide alloy rims, an excellent hub and ceramic bearings. These wheels are really underrated. Id recommend them to anyone wanting a solid all round wheel Now to save up for their 38mm carbons!

  12. Paypal, Landed, Taxed/Customs with FNB's small extra charge R6621.50/ set. Paid R13243 for both sets. Places like Flyxii have it much cheaper but then they only have 1 rim style for the 29er wheels and they only have 38mm and 50 or 55mm road. XMcarbonspeed was about $15 cheaper per rim but also only 38mm of 50mm for the road. I wanted a 45mm for road. I wanted to go wide and hookless for the 29. Paid June 13 to be exact and it was delivered today. PM me for any more info

  16. Would you go with a Hope MONO RS hubs as a budget hub? My more expensive option is the DT240s hubs. The DT is aout double the price though but I'll only be buying once Want to buy once and not again
  17. Hi David Which hub would you recommend for a road wheelset? Ive ordered a set of 45mm U shaped rims from light-bicycle. I will be using this as a racing wheel Thanks Mopkop
  18. There might even be another box en route :w00t: Super glad I included the sram chain for my road bike. The 1.0 on the checker fits into the old chain . Lets just say that the new chain is the length ofone whole link shorter than the old worn out chain
  19. I want to build a wheelset with 20/24 holes Fr/Rr, should I go with straight pull hubs(straight pull spokes) or normal hubs with the flange(J bend Spokes). Its a set for the road bike and I weigh about 70kgs. I would like to get the hubs but I need to choose between the 2 lacing patterns. I want a strong, racing wheelset Price on the hubs are about the same whether normal flanged hub or straight pull specific Thank you
