Rims R6900 Hubs R4250 Skewers R350 Spokes and Build was R1300 Total R12800 29er setup came to R13250 imported the hubs from evans, was only about R1000 more then bitex/novatec hubs Hope Mono is 11speed yes, running force22 groupset on my bike.

this is a super late update, demmit My wheels are done, Did the Baviaans on the 29er setup, Got the Road wheels done before the DC Light-Bicycle rims with Hope PRO 4 hubs. The wide rims make a MASSIVE difference. A must upgrade for everyone Light-Bicycle rims 45mm, Sapim spokes and Hope Mono RS hubs

So I went to see the physio and after some testing and pinching and stretching etc, its my Adductor muscle. It runs over/close to the sit bones and hence the numbness/soreness. Did some needling and strapping on Tuesday, going back today for a checkup and stretching plan. Went for an easy 30km this morning and everything felt in order. Lets hope this is a permanent solution!

Ive go to the chiro regularly as my left leg is constantly shorter than the right, esp after a 4 week heavy training block. He does the alignment stuffs and then all is well again. I'll have to go for a check up with him

Hi Guys Trust youre all well. Ive been on a spez Romin 143mm for longer than 3 years now on both my road and 29er. For the past 2 weeks my sit bones have been going numb/eina/dead within 20mins of my ride. Had a saddle sore on each cheek last week but thats all cleared up now but it feel like the bone itself is sore. I was told/advised that it could be time for a different saddle, maybe something with more cushion? I ride with craft/rapid sport/ciovita/assos bibs and I get the same feeling with either of the bibs? Did the Baviaans/DC/Stellies tour last year with no issues what so ever Currently averaging about 10-13hours per week All advice welcome

try Kalbo and Rapide. Depending on your clearances the 36 on certain frames will rub against the chainstay

So there was no issues @ customs with my Sram cassette. The delay was me not receiving my invoice to pay the customs fees. Package delivered this morning and all is well again!

So I've got a problem. My package is at customs with " Clearance delay" When she called yesturday she wanted to know what a cassette is, as there is 2 in the package.... The one cassette is a SRAM cassette :ph34r: I really hope its not for the cassette, I went through the normal order/payment setup at Evans cycles WTF!

There is still too little of us importing and hence the LBS is not feeling it and even less so the distributor. As long as they can sell 10 of those chains theyre sorted and not too worried about the few that get imported. I think that with a few mates, one can order online twice a year and just got to LBS for services. I regularly tell my LBS that I'm waiting for a delivery on the bigger/more expensive items but i gladly buy the day to day things locally

So I received my Irwin IAW30 on friday morning. Really cool service from Eugene, big ups to him. The wheels came with tape, brake blocks, skewers and a wheel bag made from really durable material. The wheels weigh 1720g with bar tape but no skewers. Fitting my 25mm Gatorskin foldables was super easy too. Went out for a ride and boy o boy do these wheels just roll and roll and roll and roll............. The hub sound take some getting used to especially for those around you. I LOVE THE SOUND THOUGH. sounds like a hornets nest due to the super fast enagement (60teeth*6pawls) I got them at the special price they were running last month, R5999 which is a steel for wide alloy rims, an excellent hub and ceramic bearings. These wheels are really underrated. Id recommend them to anyone wanting a solid all round wheel Now to save up for their 38mm carbons!
