  1. And the other half to Lenasia
  2. I have a few subscriptions and I prefer it to paper now. I can take all my magazines with me on my tablet, awesome if you are sitting at the doctor or waiting for a plane. They also do some good specials from time to time. I got Car, Popular Mechanics and Getaway for R60/year in October last year. You just have to keep an eye out, because the specials don't last very long.
  3. I think before worrying about entering any events, he will have to worry about staying out of jail...
  4. I am in for this one
  5. I would definitely be in
  6. Wow, this is shocking news. So talented and so young, our prayers go out to the Standard family. RIP Burry.
  7. All the best to Mike, hope you get better soon. Apart from the fall it was a great ride and I will definitely be back for more.
  8. I have a light that I have never used, can I join in?
  9. Has anyone seen the wheel size article in the December issue of MBUK? They did a comparison over a 7Km trail with similarly spec’d bikes of the same weight and similar geometry. Pretty interesting results overall. The 29er came in first overall (21.23 min), 650b 5 seconds slower (21.28 min) and the 26” 29 seconds slower (23.52) than the 29er. So unless you are serious racer there is not too much in it. The surprise however is how close the 650b’s time is to the 29er’s seeing as the difference size wise between it and the 26” is so small.
  10. I had the same issue with my Edge 500, but I had the cable plugged into my USB 3 port, as soon as I moved it to a USB 2 port it worked, so much for backwards compatibility
  11. I also had a fitment done by them after Robox suggested it, and I also thought my setup was correct. Boy was I wrong, my saddle height and position was wrong, as well as my cleats, stem height and handlebar width! I had the fitment done about a month ago now and I am much more comfortable on my bike, and I am faster.
  12. The reason I want to change the BB is so that I can change the cranks nothing fancy just something lighter and that can handle a bit more torque.
  13. I have an old Giant ATX870 (1998) with a square taper UN55 BB lying in the garage, which I plan on turning it into an SS over the next couple of weeks and wanted to know if anyone has tried replacing these types of BBs with a newer HollowTech II type BB, or if it is even possible to do?
  14. I have some routes on my garmin that I got off the garmin website. The longest I have been able to find so far is about 40Km, which I did this weekend, but there are a few side routes that I didn't try. I love NF its not very technical but still a lot of fun.
  15. Nice work I have been eyeing out an old xtc in my old man's garage for exactly the same purpose
  16. I was also in the I batch last race, H batch this time around. It is only my second Trailseeker though.
  17. Yup 26", got them from Easybike, before that I had tyres made by the bicycle manufacturer and almost killed myself on them
  18. Mountain King 2.2 UST up front and Race King UST 2.2 at the back. They have done about 500 Km's so far without any flats.
  19. I have been using it since RTM came out a couple months ago. I had some teething problems initially but I have enjoyed it since then. The lack of a start bar is a bit weird in the beginning but you get used to it.
  20. All cash all the time, as a point of habit I don't finance hobbies.
  21. I'm in for the half marathon, also its my first trail seeker :-)
  22. I got mine, there is a mountain of size L and a reasonable amount of XL and M. You can also choose your size, but I suppose it may become a bit more of a lucky draw later on. For now thought there are definitely quite a few of each available.
  23. I just picked up my number, wow in and out in 2 minutes.
  24. Has anyone been watching the CLT20? I must say I am very impressed with Lions - taking out two of the top IPL sides is pretty good work.
  25. I have already committed to buying a new saddle so if they come up with a few more changes I will probably go with it as well. I hate being uncomfortable so I will do just about anything at this time.
