  1. parafin is best for gears been using it for a decade....sunlight and warm water didn't work for the sticky clay i'm riding in .
  2. I've always used clean green and other stuff for my road bikes over the years ..but now , new to Mtb....the mudd and clay...sticks even after a wash. Any advice?
  3. I must say the Stan's look fast, I will try a pair in the future if their not crazy expensive.

  7. I need advice on fast non tubeless tires, what's the fastest for xc.... for mostly hard gravel racing. I used kenda nevada something during my first race and I couldn't get away haha

  11. getting a second hand cannondale is good advice. They seem to make the best quality bikes. I know of only 2 handmade brands....the other is rocky mountain.
  12. the newlands sport science centre , if you want the best...get prof green from Canada he did my bike set-up, not sure if he's still there tho
  13. If depends if you wanna go fast or....comfy ..fizik is the most comfy but very slow....you get saddle bounce

  18. My advice is , don't commute with a bicycle or motorbike in this country. Not worth losing your life....it's not if but when.... (someone in car/ taxi wont see you.

  23. What would the conversion entail and benefits be? Getting a bike (hopefully today!!!) with a Recon 351 on it. benefits, will be upgrading to duel air. If you live in CT, I know a shop who does the conversions in milnerton. 351... super value for money, 1 of my bikes a Avalance pro has the same shock.
  24. If you buy a rockshock recon you could upgrade it to a reba at min...cost ! I'm sure you all knew that right!
