Shimano , I think it's cheaper, I'd go with 105 even, it wont slow you down, Lance rode with heavy clunkers and only recently changed to the latest shimano's . Shimo's are easier to service for me personally. I have a pair of time's and their a nightmare to service due to the deep fixed non- replaceable needle bearings at the back of the shaft........sorry just thinking out loud ! ))

I agree , 105 best bang for buck, I'm still riding 8 and 9 speed bikes ( Will have to go over to 10 speed in the near future just because of lack of availability of parts.

I must say the guys "look" fast .

The old 8 speed connex chains use to last 30000km on a Dura-ace 8 speed cluster )

Good post but the 10am-3pm rule is nonsense in my opinion. I check the uv level updates on websites and its sky high from 9am-5pm.

I saw C jnr today, the guy is still very skinny which means, he's still fit.

Yeah my physio first stuck some needles in my leg, (acu-nonsense!) then she had a infra red massage machine stuck to my leg for 15 min a time. After my second session she said she could advise a 5grand operation which means cutting out a piece of my ITB if her methods failed. Google told me to use some ice and lots of specialized stretching ) b4 and after training, it did the job, injury free for 4 years now.
