  1. In a ideal situation sell your current trainer and both cheap trainer bikes and get a Kickr Bike. My whole family gets to use it with 3 easy adjustments done in 10 seconds.
  2. If anyone is in the market I have 2 machines for sale in boxes. Breville Barista Touch ( as new used for 4 months ) R14500 Nespresso Creatista Plus ( in box used for 6 months ) R4500
  3. If I may ask where did you manage to find a Oracle ?
  4. Well firstly I personally think it comes down to riding skill. Nino will ride courses with his 100mm xc bike which I would not even attempt with my trail bike. I have had mine for 6 months. Loving it every day. My son also has one. We will not change for anything else. If the brain bothers you open it up all the way. For me it is the perfect bike for Sani etc. Unfortunately there is no enduro bike that weighs and pedals like a Evo.
  5. Evo without a doubt. Also has a far better secondhand resale value. It is the Hilux of the cycling world ????????
  6. I bought the S25 for R15500 a day before lockdown. Not a single issue. Works great with the ifit app which is video based running and the treadmill adjusts elevation as the runner ascends. Also has a 10 year warranty.
  7. Give TriBecca a try at Lynwood bridge. Awesome decaf and I think they do them in pods now as well
  8. Also if you buy it new the rear brain shock comes with a free 2 year service plan included.
  9. Totally agree. 2 to 3 weeks ago people would pay ridiculous prices to get one out of desperation. Now that ship has sailed unfortunately.
  10. https://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/wahoo-kickr-headwind R3000 pretty please
  11. This was the final decision. 2.3 DHF Front 2.3 Agressor Rear Super happy
  12. Sorry typo. Meant Ardent front and Ikon rear ????
  13. Sorry for all the questions. Would love to go skinwall. I can get Ardent 2.4 rear and Ikon 2.2 Front. Is this an option ?
  14. Currently running Ardent Race 2.35 front and back. Problem is rear tyre is almost touching frame(Kona Hei Hei) so need to look at 2.25 Rear.
  15. I need help please. I am riding a Dual Suspension bike with 100mm travel rear and 120mm front. Set up for trail riding mostly. I am running rims with 31mm internal width. Most of my riding is fast trails with a lot of washed out corners , dusty etc. I am looking at 2.3 / 2.35 front and 2.25 rear. Any suggestions on what would be the best setup as this is my all rounder ?
  16. My weapon of choice ????????????????
  17. I agree. I did not say that this is the best xc bike however I would gladly use this for XC races. Most of us mere mortals without the surname Schurter will in any case ride far better with a more relaxed dual susser especially in the technical sections. I am not paid to ride a uncomfortable bike all day so then I have to choose the best all rounder
  18. Just for interest sake. Thanks to Craig from Trailtech I had the privilege of riding his 120 mm beast. Let me tell you. I was seriously impressed. Having owned a number of Tallboy's and trying the big S this is up there with the best. It came specced with XX1 and South Industries carbon wheels with a 120mm Sid on the front. This is the only other bike I have ridden other than the Tallboy that when you ride it , it feels like you are sitting in the bike rather than on top. It climbs just as good and decends far better than my skill level. I will kill ( maybe should not say this out loud ) for this bike. This is definitely a contender for an all day, all trail kind of bike and will work perfect for stage races to xc. Do yourselves a favour. Forget the stats and geometries and go ride one. The ride will speak for itself.
  19. I am a rider that likes to spin up hills. Have been using a 32 tooth 1 x 11 setup and decided to change that to a 30 tooth for Joberg2C. Best decision I could have made. All the climbs except "push of a climb" was easy and had no issues of sticking to my partner on the flats with his 2 x 10. Hope this helps.

Love these. Cable ties scratched my brand new Momsen carbon bar so badly that this is worth every cent.
  21. Hi not a guru at all but also check out the new RS Revelation. Have a SID on my one bike and Revelation on the other. It really is a awesome fork.
  22. Xtreme Industries did my lens replacement. Give them a try www.xtremeindustries.co.za
