  1. its for all the energy bars on the 30km ride... haha
  2. Siemens EQ 6 500 plus, bought on Friday, still fine-tuning the multitude of settings ????
  3. Chat to @christovdw he lives in CW and rides there almost every other day. Lots of trails but there are one or two spots to be careful of because of significant drop-offs.
  4. Awesome thanks! Was curious as to Siemens’ reputation in coffee circles, you have given me some peace of mind, many thanks!
  5. My el-cheapo espresso machine is working hard, going through 1kg of Bootlegger beans every 3 to 4 weeks…
  6. yes they look very similar indeed! you say it works 100's for home use? at the moment im using a manual espresso machine with a separate grinder, it works fine, but SARS smiled on me and I'm thinking "why not..."
  7. I’m in the market for an automatic coffee machine, just for home use. Budget range is about 10k. Any thoughts on the Siemens?
  8. Or 1200 GS ????
  9. Spinning bike? ????
  10. well thats me never riding there again... VAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK STEAKS!
  11. A mate of mine is dabbling in the hot sauce market. Seems to be doing well. He is the owner of Superbike Solutions in Somerset West (strange combination I know…) Im not sure if he has a website up but I know he is active on FB. Juls Craft Sauce.
  12. This reminds me of Martin Ashton who ended up paying (almost) the ultimate price. These guys are nuts, but that’s who they are. Think Jeb Corless/Alex Honnold. Would i do it? Hell no. Do i enjoy their videos when they pull it off? Yes. Does it freak me out? Absolutely!
  13. Furthermore, when Wayne Parnell came up through the system i was really hopeful that he would turn the corner and become a champion cricketer. But CSA failed him. Just like Tsotsobe, Zondeki, Ngam and so many others.
  14. VDP has lots to say on a whatsapp group he is involved with and his comments arent very flattering. His selection on that day certainly had an influence on team morale, i dont think that fact should be overlooked. Also remember that we were well on our way to put a big number on the board before the rain put a spanner in the works. But i will also say that our bowling on that day was well below par. I also have an issue with those small fields that some of the WC games were played on in NZ, but of course it is the same for both teams. Bowlers operate as a unit, i do think the goings-on regarding selection had an impact on their morale. If our cricket board did its job for the last 27 odd years, we wouldnt have to be talking about selecting guys based on anything other than performance. But no, spending money on development is secondary to lining pockets and pushing guys into the team for immediate “transformation success”. This Social Justice Committee is nothing more than a platform for players to come forward with imaginary stories of wrong-doing in an attempt to deflect their own shortcomings. This process should really be targeted at the administrators who were in charge and did nothing but line their own pockets. To my knowledge the Bakers Mini cricket development program has been running since well before 1992 and its still the only development program yielding any form of success, which in itself says a lot. And lets not forget how much money was pumped into Soweto CC and Langa CC who today has nothing to show for it because the facilities are ransacked. We have many talented cricketers across the ethic dispersion. But they are being let down by their administrators. Thats really all that should be said about that.
  15. ag jirre... i dont even bother reading about that nonsense. how about Omar Henry coming out last week moaning about the 1992 WC... faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak meeeeeeeeee.... we will see all sorts of jokes coming out with this social justice hearing crap... I still hear Ntini bragging about his fitness running between the venues/hotels, only for him to come out saying he felt uncomfortable on the bus... sorry, I JUST CAN'T....
  16. haha, ja look, i tried with my rotties but it is now a hard no, they have lekker sheepskin beds at the foot of my bed. they are allowed anywhere EXCEPT on the big dog's bed
  17. this is also a great supplement for fur-kids with joint issues. and dont discount the use of cbd oil when that dreaded C word makes its appearance...
  18. The following may or may not be of use to you: I fed Quintus Doggobone Raw up until about April. He was in great shape, very lean and muscular. The assessement made during the championship show was that he was lacking substance and was a tad underweight. At that point i decided that i just couldnt afford to feed him 2,5kg of raw a day (at R17/500g serving) in order for him to bulk up to the breed standard. My dogfather who has over 30years experience in breeding and judging (internationally) rotties recommended i switch to Omega, which is developed and manufactured locally. Quintus’ growth since then has been exponential! Lucky for me I get Omega direct so i dont pay R900 odd for a 20kg bag at the petshops but R860 for a 25kg bag. My only real issue with feeding him pellets is the stool sizes are GIGANTIC. With raw, more than 90% of the food is absorbed and the stools break up after 2 days, unlike this starch molehill that never seems to disappear. People have differing views on raw, but if i could justify spending R85 a day then i would probably have stuck with it. But if someone with over 30 years knowledge makes a suggestion i guess im better off listening.
  19. interesting, I moved from Strand to Brackenshire about 12 years ago and I wouldnt move back to the Helderberg for any money. road congestion there is just nuts, even after Broadway Bld was upgraded. Brackenshire is just so much more central for me. To each his own I guess...
  20. the commentators on SS are extremely annoying, the aussie always falling over his words and the other one STILL cant pronounce Pogacar correctly, nevermind the fact that he seemingly cracked etc
  21. I have come across other rottie owners who i found to be very obnoxious. I believe dogs are a reflection of their owners. You can also learn a helluva lot about someone by the way they treat their fur-babies.
  22. Sho, learnt something new today. #allk9smatter
  23. Jip. Likes and dislikes of dog breeds are more often than not formed on this basis. Dont worry i wont hold it against you ???? im definitely not trying to persuade anyone that rotties are better than breed x/y/z. ???????????? #allk9smatter
