  3. prices never go down, there'll be a "sale" with the RRP giving the impression that you're buying a moerse bargain... that's just the way of the beast. i had this argument with a national bike dealer on one of the social media platforms, and they tried to convince me that a 60% increase was due to increased transport costs and the the exchange rate". this was in mid april, I just laughed...

  6. Well done for busting a cap in his donkey! Its crazy what goes on sometimes! I mean it must be a bot or something posting that nonsense, just looking at it it seems too much effort for a person to manually sit and post the same thing THAT many times? Anyways, you popped him in about 2 hours, still a better response time than SAPS I am told
  7. indeed, every couple of minutes this spanner spams all forums...

  11. haha... ja look Quintus wasn't himself there for a week or 2. shame he just turned 2, so he is still young. i took him with when we put Xena to sleep, some say that is a good idea, it helps the process, im not sure if it did. but now he has become a bit more relaxed, very demanding tbh. if i ignore him he grabs me by the arm, little bastard's got some power already haha

its official, Jack Miller signed with the factory Ducati team.
  13. yes, I agree with you, what i deduce from my experience is that it seemed to slow down the development of the cancer. This was the second dog i lost to cancer, im getting a bit fed up with it now (the cancer, not the dogs). Rambo had lymphoma at age 8,5. Xena managed just about 9 years. I know for large dogs that is pretty much par for the course, but it doesnt mean I have to like it. My guru (a legend in the rottweiler community) had some wise words when I spoke to him about it: "We have to remember that we have taken these animals from the wild and domesticated them. In the wild they would probably never reach 9 years of age as the weak/old won't survive in the pack and probably starve to death when they are unable to hunt for themselves. We are blessed to have our dogs in our lives for 9-10 years if we are lucky, but we are cursed that we only have them for such a short time. We only have them for a part of our lives, but they have us for their entire lives."
  14. my booooooooy
  15. wrt cancer, after losing my Xena last month, i have sat thinking about the last couple of months subsequent to discovering the cancer and finally losing her. you see, i was giving her cbd oil ever since the cancer was discovered, and im not sure but it seems to me that when i stopped giving her the cbd oil, the tumor on her leg started to grow noticeably faster. im not sure if im imagining things. i guess it still hurts, and i kind of feel like i am to blame for stopping the cbd treatment. blame myself for her demise. your thoughts on cbd oil and the efficacy when treating cancer? on the positive side, the youngster is enjoying being an only child. i spoil him with droee wors. he also seems to have settled down since losing his "maatjie". not sure if and when i will get him a new "maatjie", maybe, just not now... i'll see i guess.
  16. sorry for your loss dude.
  17. I think that looks really good!

  21. ja remember years ago when he was "testing" for Ferrari? back then it would have been a masterstroke, not sure if he still has what it takes to emulate John Surtees. Maybe???
  22. ja i agree. sadly for him the more drivers confirming their seats for next year, the less bargaining power he has because Merc will end up being his only option. so Merc will offer him less, hopefully sending him to endurance racing or something else where he can be a big fish in a small pond. I find it super irritating that he gets compared with the greats of yesteryear when the guys he beat were average at best. Seb Vettel had earned a lot of respect winning for Red Bull, when he left for Ferrari he became so infatuated with being the next Schumacher that it ended up turning him into a crybaby when he failed to deliver. I wont miss him at Ferrari. It is becoming more and more difficult to support Ferrari though.
  23. This, the same can be said about VR46.
  24. HAHAHA... Patch you made my lockdown with this!
