  1. Peter Wheel aka Icycling.. colonel: disturbing size in Marius's arms I must admit (bigger than your legs dude!)
  2. Enjoy watching me pass you driving home at 5km/h in traffic
  3. Just had to slip it in didn't you!
  4. Or to finish with the pack and use your bond money..... Easton Tempest II's - R15 000 Continental Tubby's - R2000 Powertap - R 9000 Stroke at age 40 because you needed the drugs to win PPA's R300 prizemoney - Priceless
  5. The royalties are on the way mate! Oh and it beats doing drugs to win
  6. I plan on using the colonel training plan, depending on how it works for Dash. Line a small bathroom / guest toilet with foil. Set up indoor trainer with MTB Switch on fan heater for simulating windy heat Take a hand full of sand in throw down shorts Take a hand full of sand in insert in to shoes Ride for 6hrs
  7. Heheh classic...it's a pity I missed it due to the bane of my cycling life...punctures...(hence no road riding season for a long while) but still finished, felt fine and in high spirits..
  8. Sorry about telling the Afrikaans jokes during that time For my sins I blew a tyre (snake bite in a pothole) and colonel could ride in relative peace
  9. I'm still annoyed at Club 100 riders who had issues with me sitting behind them after I got my one puncture fixed. Decided to let them be out of respect for Doney, Zippit and willpower in the bunch and rode with a social group, slow as they were
  10. Very very nice! Bought the same wheels recently, very happy with them!
  11. There, fixed it for you
  12. My biggest grype...gravel section outside Montague, puncture, pothole near Bonnievale, puncture, repaired wheel going down near last feed zone, puncture, change wheel, 5km to go, puncture...ride the fscking thing in FLAT!... Oh well...was fun training ride
  13. Cheap car, all bikes paid for in cash...my bond is my pain in the rear...I bought at the wrong time...lots of interest rate hikes so it increased by 1/3rd in the 2.5yrs I've owned the stupid house..
  14. rad006 I think Admin makes very little. Hosting and bandwidth costs are a bit expensive. I'm not sure where he hosts it, but I know the person who helps me host chainwheel pays about $600 a month for a virtual server in the states. I certainly don't think the man is loaded from TheHub
  15. Marius, you do realize there is something other than cycling out there in the world right? Commonly refered to as 'real-life' Maybe he is focusing on running the business better? Maybe he is just enjoying being young and having fun? Maybe he got a non-cyling girlie...who knows..
  16. Please keep on topic and stop the insulting and stirring (yes two complaints about this thread so far) Fatmod
  17. Well if you do decide to ride, you're welcome to use one of my bicycles. The Litespeed Ultimate I commute on has 10speed Campy Centaur and Campy Vento wheels. You just need to put normal 23c tyres on (I use 28c cyclocross types for commuting). The frame is a 59cm (and I'm 1.84m as a reference)..oh and I live in Parklands as well..
  18. Andre, you still doing the DC? What size frame do you ride?
  19. niterider, tried Produx? He does a lot of carbon work..
  20. Johan / dirt-rider: Anything extra I should think of doing for this little Namib desert trip? Or will the standard stuff be fine?
  21. I have a Corricraft, but no bikes allowed near it
  22. yeah, I'm not the shortest and smallest person out there
  23. Aaah yeah you can clearly see the more relaxed angle and 5" travel on the LT
  24. Yeah I've had the 5th Element serviced once, but at some stage I'm going to have to punish mr. Visa and get a RP3 for the rear. That said, I love this bike, and see no reason to upgrade (I mean, it's a Santacruz damnit!)
