  1. what a terrible welcome back to racing after 2.5 years. a lot of those riders had vet and A group race numbers so not sure what they were doing in B group. the sudden drops in pace and road blocking is not safe added to our hazards of potholes, safety cones, poop and cars. reminder to self drop a group or two next time. rather safe than sorry
  2. My classes have pulled through. fingers crossed
  3. what seeding system or index do they use?
  4. time for an upgrade and possibly tubeless

  7. hi guys dont know the area well but in Isando near the airport theres a road which collapsed and is under repair. a father and his two kids were riding there and the son who was ahead of tthem was mugged. the problem is you get off the bike and walk through to cross the area. this is the second incident i heard of near that area.

without a doubt the best bike shop in jhb. they will always go the extra mile for you. it may not be the fanciest shop but they will source anything you need. best service and advise in jhb
  13. i crossed the finish line with four buddies. side by side. our racetec times are all different. 10 seconds to be exact. surely they should all be the same
  14. My first ever sub 3, got it on my third attempt. had a good day on the bike. stayed with the d group masses and managed to come in 2:39. super stoked
  15. How many hubbers have we got in D group?
  16. dont know much about the merida bike but i have been riding my foil for about a year and here's my view on the foil. the only thing i can fault on this bike is the seatpost. it is a bit slippery and i had to apply carbon glue twice in 12 months. the bike is really stiff, very fast and it is therefore a bit of a harsh ride. atleast you can be sure all your power is being transferred where you need it. it is light enough. with my race wheels the bike complete weighs 7.4kg. hope this helps
  17. First timer as well. what do you guys do during the rest stops. i had a break during my ride last weekend and when i started riding again my legs felt slow and crap. how much should i eat during the breaks any tips or advice.
