  1. With you WW, to really lose weight on a bike you need to fit lighter wheels, Fork, Groupo, ens. So very expensive exercise...
  2. It is a piece of luggage that is going to get it's fare share of handling, bumps and tossing around. So pack it as good as possible. Bubble wrap and bag if possible. I do a padded bag and some aircon pipe wraps around all the frame parts. I also insert the spacers between the dropouts. Use it, lose it, your call.
  3. Ja, vat my fiets, spaar 5kg! O, en trek soveel klere aan as wat jy kan, ry broeke, tops, ens.Schwynn2010-02-08 15:50:44
  4. they'd be holey rollers then. cheers' date=' oom, have a great sunday [/quote'] Haai! Wie't ges? Oom?! Kom hier om die hoek dan wys ek jou 'n Oom! Schwynn2010-02-07 03:00:37
  5. Look, I am a Garmin edge fan but a bit of advise, steer clear from the 305. I had 4, all been exchanged due to faults and in the end was given a 705. This, the 705, is great. No problems with it.
  6. Isn't this just the way life is?! No longer have I told these people what I think of their service and where to shove what, when I receive a slip from the post office for a parcel from Virgin Isle lands. It took 54 days to get a watch from NY to JNB! The guy who swam here with it must totally wasted! So, still not a pleasant online shopping experience with Jomashop, but at least I got my watch.
  7. Ask your girlfriend or wife, which ever to get off you neck. The pain will subside... Do some upper body exercise to strengthen you shoulders and neck area.
  8. It is just so very frustrating to be treated like moron by these F&*$ks. I paid through PAYPAL, just opened a case through their resolution center. Hopefully I get some joy there. Schwynn2010-02-03 03:07:20
  9. If ever you want to buy a watch over the internet, steer clear of JOMASHOP. I ordered a watch from them on the 19th December and to date, not a thing. I have sent them no less than 10 emails, called the 4 times and still nothing. Apparently the parcel was addressed wrong and ended up in France on the 7 January. I called USPS 3 times just to be told the sender must ask for an investigation. To cut it short, why should the buyer, who had no part in the wrongful delivery be at the shortest end? I paid in full for product and postage and what was supposed to be a Christmas gift for 2009 will now have to be wrapped for 2010. I suppose to cancel the order and ask for my money back is going to take another 2 months. In my opinion piss poor!!!
  10. Feeling cocky Confusious say: "Man with hole in pocket feels cocky all day"
  11. Well, you'd better stop robbing the okes then! They will get upset with you!

  14. I used to puncture up to 4 times in one training session. Carried 3 tubes and 4 bombs on my road bike. Then decided to put stans in my tubes, problem solved. On the MTB 2bliss, but carry a slime tube and multi tool and big air just in case.Schwynn2010-01-29 09:05:33
  15. It's easy, do it like this! Schwynn2010-01-29 04:14:16
  16. Sorry AI didn't pitch AGAINN!!! With all the rain a tree fell over the driveway, the swimming pool flooded the house, the garage door got waterlogged and wouldn't budge from the frame...., no, when I woke up at 4 and heard the rain, I decided to stay in bed. After seeing a girl sink into the mud to almost Cape Agullas, the mud wasn't that deep, I knew what was waiting and I am not a mud guppie. Will make it another time when it is a bit less muddy.
  17. Got mine as well, "G", for now. The bent rear DR did not help my time very much. So far the training is not going to plan either.
  18. The Schwynn I got came with Sram and Avid Juicy 5's. There is nothing wrong with the Juicy 5's. I don't know why I replaced mine. I weigh about 90kg's and the stopping power of these brakes are fine. Since I don't do much DH I can't speak for that but general purpose, no problems. I now have Elixer CR and they feel very smooth. As far as I am concerned I don't need anything better. Oh, and the price offered by Dealer01, not bad at all!Schwynn2010-01-24 05:42:27
  19. Roundwego And I will be out there tomorrow (Sunday) morning. Anyone else going out?
  20. Thanks for pointing us to this video! I have been struggling to seal some of my wheels as well. This has pointed out some techniques I haven't tried.
  21. Well I woke up Sunday morning with no way to hold my head that didn't hurt. I had no beer for breakfast so there was no need to have one for dessert. Sorry guys. I woke this morning with sinusitis that would stun a bull. I can barely see through my eyes and decided to give the ride a miss. Will join next time.Schwynn2010-01-17 00:52:52
  22. If the repairs are done at home, sand the area around the hole lightly. Then apply the glue. Leave it till touch dry. Peal the patch and apply. Apply pressure for a short while and put aside for 1/2 hour or so. This has not failed yet. If you are on the road, well, use a new tube or one previously patched. I always carry 2 to 3 spares with me. Schwynn2010-01-14 07:45:30
