  1. Winter is nearly on its way out mate but..... passable excuse to buy some nice Rapha's
  2. No decimals????
  3. So you have an opinion do you?
  4. What time was that?
  5. Not worth buying when you can use them at Virgin. Calibrationis usually off but rather spend R52k on REAL cycling stuff
  6. If it's early there are no shadows
  7. Already had shaved legs so more a case of coming out of the closet?
  8. Am busy sorting out the stuff to take today, pack car tomorrow and off to Bots on Thurs. Anyone else in Hubland riding the event this year?
  9. As far as I know the shorter route does not include the monster itself?
  10. An this was just sommer standing there on its own in a park???? Clearly not SA
  11. Exkuus tog but I reckon the combination of rocky and loose does qualify as technical. I for one find that much harder to ride than drops etc on smooth surface. Do agree the 70km monster is a proper challenge. Biggest mindwarp to me are the energy sucking sandy and grassy patches after you have done the monster. Don't for a minute think you're done when you made it to the top
  12. Had the same issue at same spot with my 110. Pyga replaced the frame without a problem but still a bit miffed it cracked. Would love to tell stories about the 3m drops I do but fact is that my riding should be well within what the bike can withstand. Am making a habit of checking the frame after every ride now
  13. Nice, like a good response. Roadies are know for their love for longer socks but I actually find them useful on the trails as I find they protect area above the ankle from thorns and shrubs
  14. Wives always give sound advice: 99% sound, 1% advice
  15. SHORT SOCK ALEEEERT!!!!!
  16. Results are up
  17. Walked that "road" a few years ago. TV does not do justice to how rough it is. Gaps between cobbles are 10cm+
  18. Waar is hierdie heuwel?
  19. Polka dot jersey on dirt?????
  20. Has Audi got something to do with this???
  21. Agree with that. Do understand from some organisers that they are expensive though?
  22. In fairness, sms's were sent out with the correct distance for both routes. Do think it was peculiar that road markings still said 102 given ASG clearly knew that was wrong. Judging by their seeding system, numerical stuff is not one of ASG' s stronger points
  23. Can see finishing times on Racetec app so would seem they were working fine
