New wheels

Had bike for a while, wheels are new

Reserve is SBR? Def agree that is a lekker place to ride.

Cradle is the JHB equivalent. Everytime I venture out to other areas ariund town I realise how lucky I am to just ride to cradle from home

Use the same excuse but have to admit I am liking the dirty side of riding more and more

Do not want to rain on anyone's parade but these are 35% more expensive than the funky Versus socks and 65% more than their basic line (which I use. Hear the part around doing your bit for the underprivileged but not convinced the numbers stack up?

Ringelmann is def an oracle

Of which a quarter is dealt with in the 4.4km called Vrekpoort

Received SMS with start number and starting time of 6.35 but does not say which batch I am in. Does anyone know what the batch start times are?

Can you post a Strava file showing this route?

Rode a white One10 in A batch there but did not see many others

Had a look on Strava and reckon the route will be similar to Trailseeker last year ocer similar distance. If true, it's flat and fast

Also in for 60km and will pick up number tomorrow am. Have banked on being there an hour before the start. If that does not work, I'll just ride without a number (Strava will do the timing for me)

Easy solution to the latter is to drink beer longer in the beer tent

First time on the big boys loop so can't compare to old route. Monster def deserves its name. Suffered less than expected and happy with sub 5 (just!!)
