  1. i think meintjes will finish 12th overall. i cant see time being taken tomorrow by the GC guys, but you never know with they way the guys are racing for their top10 spots. i hope they will let the break go again like today, and i Hope DDD can get someone to feature there.
  2. Well done Cheese, coming in just behind nibali
  3. Go Froooome...Nibali is strugeling
  4. the cheese made it back to the group, sitting at the back (well i thought i saw him)
  5. Contador goes...sky ups the pace to try and close the gap
  6. Attacks is starting...Aru at the front, niballi tried to jump just before the decent but sky closed him down
  7. No, just No. i do wonder why they decided on 95mg though. the price is pretty steep as well for a instant coffee.
  8. Orica Scott felt so bad yesterday, it seems they forgot to do their backstage pass video
  9. only at 16h00 again today and tomorrow. Stage 20 it I think starts at 14h00 and sunday it is the full stage again
  10. seems like everyone wants to be in the break today. its been an hour since they started, +-46km and no real break established yet. Damn that's must be tough, all those efforts to get away.
  11. That is definitely the message, how do you forget to change the chainring of one of your "main" riders haha
  12. C'mon Haig!!! love the ORS attacks
  13. haha true...but they might use both on the next two stages, im sure they will try to get someone in the break. what is the least number of riders a team has finished a GT with?
  14. news from the commentators is that the DS and car from ag2r that was involved in that incident has been dq from the race. only one car on the road for them today.
  15. the finish is wet, weather looks bad.
  16. SS5 showing stage 17 from 12h20 today if anyone missed it
  17. Alberto Contador (Trek-Segafredo): “I'm happy. I would have been very happy if I'd won the stage, but I'm happy. Furthermore, I didn't have time checks. I didn't know what the gaps were with my rivals, I was bit in the unknown. It was a good time-trial, and I'm even more motivated because the legs didn't hurt when I woke up. That means we made the most of the rest day and now let's see what we can do in this this last week. I knew it would be almost impossible for me to win such a flat time-trial. A climb would have favoured me but winning was impossible. It's getting more complicated to finish on the podium because my rivals, (Ilnur) Zakarin and (Wilco) Kelderman did a better time-trial than me. I have five more days as a professional rider and I have more to gain than to lose.” Looking forward to some fireworks from Bertie
  18. anyone know why svein tuft from ORS did not start? nevermind, just see he pulled out before the stage
  19. Dont think he is winner quality (I do hope), but think he can definitely podium. Whatever happens we will still support him for just being top 10, which is a big achievement. he has improved a lot since last year. i think he tried the double as well and ended 40 something. Someone mentioned that he is just at this tour to build strength in his legs and not really looking for a result. you can see some of the other younger guys doing their first double falling behind and blowing up. I think he is doing pretty well at the vuelta.
