  1. i have to agree with this, the way this dude chews up some of the big names at this stage is unbelievable. the fact that he rides for Astana is probably the cause for my suspicions. That said, he lives up to his name as superman. he's taken two amazing wins. What i don't get is their apology, what a load of bullocks. "After viewing the footage" as if they did not know about it? was the driver blind? he should be shamed as well for allowing it. they purely put the blame purely on the riders when they end it with a empty "unsportsmanlike riders, contrary to our values and ethics". the nibali incident was much more severe though as he was contesting for overall and he used the car to get back to the guys at the front.
  2. Omar Fraile, who was suffering at the back of the race, withdraws from La Vuelta 2017. There are only three riders left racing for Dimension Data...This has been a bad tour for DDD, so many close calls as well
  3. froome = class with that interview
  4. Their saying crashed twice? i also thought the first one was a mechanical
  5. wilco today also strengthened sunweb's argument to send barguil home
  6. We will have to wait for the backstage pass i guess to find out, but suspect the cold did not do him to good today
  7. and the action is already starting
  8. yip, he definitely wanted to go in the break today. think he tried 3 times
  9. the breakaway: Bob Jungels (Quick-Step Floors), Alessandro De Marchi (BMC), Antonio Pedrero (Movistar), Lennard Hofstede (Sunweb), Romain Bardet (AG2R-La Mondiale), Simon Clarke (Cannondale-Drapac), Antwan Tolhoek (LottoNL-Jumbo), Matej Mohoric (UAE Team Emirates), Sander Armée (Lotto Soudal), Giovanni Visconti (Bahrain-Merida), Igor Anton (Dimension Data), David Arroyo (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA), Conor Dunne (Aqua Blue Sport), Aldemar Reyes (Manzana Postobon) with Igor Anton only 5min54sec behind CF, i do not think they will let the break go to far. He might even be forced out of the break.
  10. It is on! 12:31 The flag has been dropped under the rain (18°C).
  11. i actually travel with my clever dripper these days instead of my aeropress. i use the cotton filters for easy cleaning. i understand where long wheel base is coming from though. i waited for 5+ years before i could buy my machine. During that time i bought a couple of "cheap" espresso machines, i passed both of them on to someone else within the first 6 months and played around with moka, aeropress, and more recently the clever dripper. i enjoy all three of them on different days, but you need a good quality grinder (i currently use my "handground" with the manual methods) with any method you drink your coffee. if you cant afford an expensive machine at the moment, spend the moola you planned on spending on the machine on a grinder and just stick to what you have now
  12. I actually hoped the maincheese would do something like that as well, but seems he's still dangling at the 4min mark
  13. wow, i wrote him off after stage 3, but contador is firing today
  14. i almost stop liking the guy, at first glance i though it was a hair bun on his head. if it was he would have been a trend starter though.
  15. mmmmm...looks alot like this https://www.takealot.com/handpresso-auto-hybrid-machine-black/PLID41242140?gclid=CjwKCAjw8IXMBRB8EiwAg9fgMMhHJ619om3pgJf5f4jqEti7jn3htw3ikTeKFhJOQGZIn8BJz1ZBbhoCIPcQAvD_BwE
  16. to late, you've already committed, now you have to follow through...
  17. because they've had the yellow for so many days...17 days in yellow is a lot
  18. especially with a lead of 6min already and only one cat climb to come
  19. Wow TDG has been in the mix a few times this TDF. Probably going for most aggressive rider overall
  20. Problem with the cheese being so small, he will not offer cf a wheel to follow. he might as well ride next to him just to whisper sweat nothings in his ear
  21. apparently the top 20 finishers from the izoard will TT against each other with the starting times as they finished. 1st AVV then a 43sec gap 2nd Lizzie then 40sec 3rd Borghini etc etc...
  22. i dont think stevo has it in him if you look at how he rode yesterday. seems like he's not feeling 100% after that crash he had on stage 17
