    So today justice was served, the driver was sentenced to an 8 year jail term, two of which are suspended. i know this doesn’t bring back Alex, but I hope it starts the healing process for some. RIP Coach, you will always remain in the hearts of the PCC crew.

    Word on the street is there is a exit clause in their DD contract. If they don't achieve World Tour status DD walks. Maybe time to rethink a couple of their big name signing that have provided less points than most Interconti riders.

    Imported a Inflite CX bike last month. Ordered on the Thursday evening, was delivered the following Monday afternoon. Online ordering process took 5 minutes at most. 1 x payment to UPS for Vat of 15% (bikes imported for personal use carry a 15% VAT charge only, no duty) Bike build 30 minutes from time of opening box

    Vida in Greenside closed up shop about 18 months ago, replaced by State5.

    Just pulled the trigger on one of these Inflite deals I feel sorry for the local bike shops as it was delivered in 4 days from Germany and I assembled it in an hour.

    Froome rode with us in the Northcliff Cycles mixed team in 2011. This was the same year he finished second at Vuelta while nursing Wiggins.

    Is this the same Herman that took away a LBS license even though they didn’t owe him a cent, let me be frank, I will never buy another BMC product while this guys is in charge.

    Meintjies will likely never win a major race in Europe, he should learn from Landa and go and support a big GC contender to learn the skills of the trade, that said, Landa will also never win one of the four major races. He does not have the numbers to achieve this success, if he did he would not have been the third last rider in the Sky train (Landa, Thomas then Froome). On the downside Sky have all his numbers so can outclass him in the following vehicle as they did to Richie.

    There are a number of questions the CSA need to answer to the cycling community - 1) Rider safety at SA's at their premier event 2) Why the UCI's weather condition protocols where not invoked on Saturday when temperatures hit 50 degrees (See twitter for pic's from team managers).

    Definitely the best multi day stage race in the country. Hats off the the team/s that prepare the tracks and a big thanks to the farmers for letting us use your land. Will be back next year.

    Good Luck getting your warranty resolved, its only been 4 months since I sent the Specialized Flux lights back to Specialized as per a product recall. Their back up service and honouring world wide warranties in RSA is pathetic.

    So the rumours are true, 2017 Specialized bikes don't come standard with RS-1 forks anymore. Interesting to see that Kulhvey and Anneke are on RS-1 forks. All in all a really great looking machine and sure James will do it justice.

    Going to be interesting to track their progress, as history has shown not many roadies go to MTB and shot the lights out (sorry Darren).

    The black edition is one sexy machine but R200k Let's put it into perspective, there are 60,095 cars listed on autotrader. Of that 30,520 are listed for less than R200k.

    Was lucky enough to have ridden the event with Shameeg, he was a super star, flying the SA high. If it was not for day 1 where he lost time due to breaking spokes (ridding in Alex in the break), he would most likely have taken yellow as well. A further point to note is Alex Otto is also a SAFA, who was third overall and 1st Master (Vet as we know them). The true honour was getting to ride with Roche at 58, he was showing the lighties that a old dog doesn't forgets it's tricks.
