  1. Try this guy. Darryl Koekemoer <darrylks@gmail.com> He gets it from China. I am awaiting delivery of the attached.
  2. Any one know in Durban?
  3. I saw the one Mike Bike is referring to from ASG. Pity I had just bought mine, that looked awesome. ASG service also very good.
  4. Cheap is bad. They look pretty but just don't get the pressure you need and the pressure gauges are inaccurate. Rather spend a bit more (only about an extra R100) and go for a decent Giant, BBB or even the housebrand one fro Sportsmans Warehouse. All around R300 bucks.
  5. As I have been told (by a doctor) when you get sick, your heart pumps harder to help pump blood around the body quicker. When you the exert yourself through exercise this puts even more strain on your heart but the pericardium (sack around the heart) does not expand. This can lead to a condition called myocarditis and this is what can cause a heart attack. Bottom line, take a few days off, get better and give the poor legs a break too. Muscle has amazing memory andyour fitness will come back quick enough. Hey, even Bradley Wiggins took some time out to get better!
  6. Not at all. They will be up for sale on the Hub or Gumtree!
  7. Call Norman 0835743525
  8. Get yourself a set of EarBudi's http://www.amazon.com/EARBUDi-Clips-Apple-iPhone-Earbuds/dp/B003T90WY8 Cheap and you can continue to use your existing buds. Also lets you hear road noise so you can hear the taxi as it is about to knock you off your bike!
  9. I am riding a Merida Scultura Comp 904. Great value, full carbon and Shimano 105 for around the upper end of your price range. Very happy.
  10. Go with Shitelist!
  11. Try this. After your run, roll a golf ball under the sole of your foot for about 8 - 10 minutes. In particular, you will find a number of pressure points. Press down on these exerting enough pressure to release stiffness and lactic acid build-up but not too much that it hurts. This is particularly useful for shin-splints (I Googled this and it sorted me out) but then also found it worked for general stiffness and sore muscles. Cheap and easy. One or two sessions and you will be sorted. Now can anyone help with the knot in my neck/shoulder I am getting from doing long road rides?
  12. Must say. I am feeling pretty proud to be a cyclist in SA right now! Anyone esle feel that way?
  13. It's just so freaking cold!
