  1. That's awesome!!! Congrats Dude, such a rad ride. Many, many, maaaaany happy smiles and miles...
  2. Cane Creek DB Coil CS. Arrived yesterday... Fitting today and first ride tomorrow... Excited!!
  3. I know - Phone them - Their website stock and info is not up to date.
  4. Ordered yesterday from evobikes Remi. I believe they still have in stock. Just ring them to confirm.
  5. Keep forgetting to check this thread. Please PM me next time you're having a build or ride day as would dig to come and check it out.
  6. Hahahaha. Wicked... Sold! Thanks Dude.
  7. Awesome. Thanks Dude. Think I'm gonna give it a go. Sure it'll also be slightly lighter than the MM SG. I'm running a trailstar MM on the front and loving it. Will be nice to have a faster rolling tire on the rear too.
  8. Oh really. Mmmmm... Ok, then guess the Magic Mary Trailstar SH would be the one to go for as the RR won't last long at all with the smaller knobs. Well I don't think it will anyway... Trailstar at the back generally wears pretty quick. Keen to try the RR though. Have you tried the RR Myles?
  9. Does anyone know of a store that has any 26" Schwalbe's in Super Gravity Pace Star compound!? Thinking Magic Mary, Rock Razor or New Nobby Nic. Phoned around a few of the usual places but not much luck... Evo had but all in trailstar which will wear too quick.
  10. This is where my money is going the next month instead of carbon wheels which after having a friend talk some sense into me I couldn't justify spending the money on 26" carbon when the next bike will be 27.5... Anyway, shock will be a big upgrade as I've currently got my fox pumped pretty high in psi to deal with my lardiness so I'm not getting the best out of the compression settings etc. That and the fact that it is going to looks so good on the Slayer didn't take much to justify the purchase. Also going to go for the Ti spring to save some weight... As well as riding more to lose weight on my body instead of paying R1000's to save a few grams - It's like free weight saving. I should eat a tape worm to get best results. ;p http://nsmb.com/cane-creek-double-barrel-coil-climb-switch/
  11. That's hectic Dude. Sorry to hear but glad you came out ok(ish). Heal up soon!!
  12. What is that black box thing on the non drive side of the down tube?
  13. DAMN!!!!! That is something else!! Love it!!!
  14. I actually agree. And it's more within reach in budget terms.
  15. Love, love, love the Mondraker designs - 8999 € Though!!! Also not so sure it's a bike for anyone to just hop on and shred. But so beautiful to look at.
  16. Ran my 2015 NN PS Rear and Magic Mary TS for the first time this past weekend at Cascades. LOVED the combo. MM was Super grippy in the front and never once gave me the feeling it was letting go and tracked superbly in hard and loose stuff. New NN on the rear rolled much better than the Hans Dampf it replaced, still not super fast but I noticed a difference. Also felt stable, slides were easily controlled and knobblies are all still holding tight which is more than I can say for the old NN and HD who's blocks started ripping and shredding after the first ride. They are big, slightly heavy and aggressive looking - they do have some rolling resistance but for me personally, the grip and control they offer is worth it. Will be my combo for a long time me thinks.
  17. Ordering through EvoBikes. They have stock of all three models and replied to my mail. Also not that much more expensive than Easybike in the bigger scheme of things and shipping is free on orders over R1000 so make a bit back there. Going with the SG casing on the Magic Mary on your advice Remy.
  18. Thanks Les - I'll PM you and can maybe add to your order when you you put it through. Cheers Sean - Will check them out - Really keen on the Schwalbe's though... But still keen to try the Bronson/vigilante combo...
  19. Morning all... I know I can ask my LBS but thought one of you might know of a better and more price competitive store/online shop/private seller that has the below for sale... - (New Nobby Nic 2015) Schwalbe Nobby Nic Evo - Snakeskin TL Easy - PaceStar 26 x 2.35' - Schwalbe Magic Mary Evo - Snakeskin TL Easy - TrailStar 26 x 2.35'' - Schwalbe Rock Razor Evo - Snakeskin TL Easy - PaceStar 26 x 2.35 Easybike was my first go to as they are normally good with price on the schwobblies and even though their lead times are sometimes a little long for imports, I have time as really only need for middle of next month - Had no reply in 4 days though. Do customs whack you with import duties on tyres?
  20. Excited for this!!! Got a good crew coming down from Jozi for this... Started running to get the fitness up as struggled badly after stage 2 a Giba.
  21. Hey Chris, Do you have any intermediate/advanced clinics planned for after Easter? Keen on either Hakahana or PWC (Or wherever you suggest really) for some technical trail skills - rocky sections, jumps, cornering, line selection, tripple back flips and 980 cork screws etc... The simple stuff My mate would also like to join. Cheers, Balt.
  22. Cool, thanks Chris. I have something on in the afternoon but will see if it can be rescheduled as I'm digging the clinic overview of the PWC session. Otherwise will join on another date.
  23. Hey Chris, myself and a mate are possibly keen 7-10am lesson. Just depends where you want to do it? Somewhere to practice intermediate skills - Jumps, drop offs, rock gardens, cornering, line choices... Stuff to get the confidence up on more gravity orientated riding...
  24. Hahaha. Yeah, I don't want to be too over the top but reckon a little more blue never hurt anyone... Except people with sensitive eyes ;p I'll dub myself the trail smurf. ;p
  25. Does anyone know of a store in SA that has a pair of the Five Ten Freerider Pro Danny MacAskill's in a size 11UK in stock?
