Took a look at the results on Bouttime's website. Some hack analysis shows: Entries limited to 1500 Finishers with a time 1039 Difference 461 Could there have been attrition of close to 30% in this race? I don't think so. I (and I would assume all entrants) received an email a few weeks before the race asking if I REALLY was going to ride. If not, please let the organisers know by clicking on something etc. etc. Seemed like a simple and thoughtful request given that the entries were over-subscribed and the race entry fee was ZILCH, ZERO, NIL. Surely the average, intelligent, non-selfish entry pool would have given up their entries if they did not intend riding? Would be interesting to see the DNF and DNS statistics. that reconcile the number back to 1500.

Registration done. In and out in less than 3 min. Maybe they sorted out some system issues?

Bouttime event, not SAS. Number boards issued on registration. I think I might just get mine today. Not lus for stressing tomorrow.

What did you tell it is your normal sleep and wake times? These will influence what thinks of your sleep patterns...

Looks really picturesque LTG Last time I was at VG was the Gravel Xpress. Need to get there again!

I also rode this loop for the first time. Very lekker. Trouble is it leads to a whole bunch of other Blue route loops which (for me) were very difficult and I had to port a few sections. Skills training is big at Thaba! Also saw these bokkies

I took my bike to Thaba today, then it took me for a tough ride! Like R&R said, start Lete and it gets hot! Did 47km in total. Quite messed afterward. Resting: Saw some bokkies:

Did you do hat long ride with the Velo guys? Maybe you met my friend Luis?

Which teams ride Cervelo? DD and... Think they will defy the others and ride with disc brakes?

Maybe get a rubber grommet instead of the tape. Will look a lot neater. Dropper and sus lockout on the same side? that hand will be busy!
