  1. Aggenee NSBB. What is a pink slip? I have a pen and can easily sign your pink slip if you want
  2. Just saw this comment on an e-mail from Victor at Van Gaalen: "There’s a “slight hill” on route, Breedt’s Nek, its eroded" Anyone ridden this hill recently who can give us an idea of what to expect?
  3. My bike took me on the first century ride I have done since my back issues 18 months ago! My Morewood Zula took me from home to the Cradle, along the Cradle MTB track and back home. Here I am celebrating what was for me a breakthrough ride on note! 100.6km on a mixture of tar, gravel sidewalk and trail. Thanks to the random stranger who took the photo for me!
  4. Those loops (Samuel & Yafta) are really lekker. Those jumpy thingies where you went down are tricky. I just roll over them and hope for the best. Thaba is an awesome place.
  5. Northern Farm with my son. The cows are for you @LTG!!
  6. Hectic Gerald! Is that the Steenbras road?
  7. Had such a lekker ride at Northern Farm this morning! First the Red route, then the Blue route, then the Green route. Seems like ages since I've been there but it was as good as ever!
  8. I need prescription lenses and they told me they cannot do thaty in these lenses. Oh well, Oakley can so I stay with them!
  9. Took a late afternoon ride out at Thaba. Windy but was still lekker. Green plus Jafta. R&R had a proper ride doing the whole blue. Not for sissies for sure!
  10. How's that man eating sized spider StevieL! Looks nice there. Bit less dust than the Cradle perhaps
  11. Did a ride to the Cradle and back including the MTB loop. Was a beautiful day out. The end of the MTB track End of the section to the caves
  12. Wow, how's that view! Amazing pics LTG!
  13. Slightly off topic but similar: I stumbled upon at Peloton Magazine. They have this character they call #MrH, whose Strava name is "Mister Hematocrit" He is a bit like their version of the Stig. He goes about "reclaiming" Strava KOM's from Pro riders who have "robbed" the amateurs of KOM's. Quite funny really. http://pelotonmagazine.com/ https://www.strava.com/athletes/1818193 Sorry for the mini hijack!
  14. They should rather just fund Qubekha.
  15. He made it seem easy too. One day I will get mine right!
  16. Thanks for the great coffee this morning V12man!
  17. Amazing pics LTG. 2d one is my favorite!
  18. Thaba Trails today. Did 2 laps of Green which according to Garmin was 49km. Second loop included Jafta. 850m elevation gain. First loop with my son and a friend we brang with. Second loop solo. Was really lekker.
  19. @Fat Boab, I would no doubt do the CTCT if that was the choice I had to make. Thing is, in reality we can all choose both so the question you pose (which is one of substitution, not addition) is not valid in this particular circumstance. @HappyMartin, why do you suppose Capetonians seldom venture out? Do you not also think that the marketing done over the years is better for the CTCT? Also think that the involvement of PPA in WC adds down there whereas we have no such association in GP. Just some Friday chit-chat..
  20. Why is it like this? Argus (CTCT) entries sold out in less than a day 947 After months of being open for entries still 100's of spaces open.
  21. +1 on Navworld. They wll sort it out. Not sure that the eBay option is the best.
  22. Where and when can I come?
  23. Cool to be riding with your boy! Well done both!
  24. Visited Northern Farm again today for a leisurly ride with the kids. What a lekker ride!
  25. Seems like ages since I've ridden at Northern Farm. This section is always enchanting! Thoroughly enjoyed myself and after 63km I was also thoroughly tired!
