  1. Got to take the afternoon off so I spent it at Thaba Trails. Did the new Green route incl Samuel & Jaftha. Was loads of fun and I met Pikey on the trail too. These pics taken at the top of a tough climb
  2. So many very appealing bikes coming out this year!
  3. There's always a next ride!
  4. Cycled from home to The Cradle on my Morewood. Did the MTB trail and some other bits. 82km in total. For me that was a big day!
  5. Was also in the Cradle this morning!
  6. Just needed a Camelbak to complete the picture????
  7. One of my favorite places now. Waterberg game lodge and surrounds. Did a bit with the kids Then a long ride on the district roads.
  8. My pain cave grew by a coupe of "Sufferers" this week. Was fun having co-sufferers!
  9. +1 on that. Also learned the hard way when I got grinder and machine together and was trying out what seemed like 100's of combinations...
  10. Took this while stuck on the N1 South homeward bound last night. These were taken on my way to work this morning.
  11. Would need a new jet for that. He will need an entourage because he can't actually do stuff and get around on his own - and no one would know how important he is
  12. I am with what Izak said. It asks if you want to update the record. you need to affirm, then it does.
  13. The loops have labels? Flip, we just said to each other that we will take some blue loops. Was tough but no regrets. That said, next time, loop b seems like a go!
  14. Aaahh. Indeed I am happy and content! Always like sharing a passion for cycling with my kids. They are great kids. I love them plenty! Sorry you had a crap ride. It was a bit windy in the afternoon but otherwise ok? Next ride will be great I'm certain!
  15. Once again really great photos LTG. Your first Father's Day as a father! Have a good one friend!
  16. My bike took me to Thaba Trails yesterday. Thought we would explore a bit. Did 2 of the blue loops. My goodness.... After 40 min my son asks how far have we come? I say: 7km... Well we only ended up doing 23km but with 525m climbing! Had a great time????
  17. Oh, look! Disk brakes! Seriously, the bike looks awesome. Can't help thinking they cribbed from Silverback though! Design looks very similar the Silverback.
  18. Not sure if it was a moment of weakness or of madness but I entered the 105km as well.
  19. Meals are included. So I don't think it's too bad. Hopefully the meal is something special!
  20. FLIP!!! Thanks for clearing that up for me. Those okies must be super-human!
  21. They do seem a bit all over the place. They guy who won the half marathon did it in 1:37 at 25.7km/h! Flip, over that course I don't think that's possible. I guess they do say "Preliminary" on the results page. I wonder when they will be "Final"?
  22. I rode the half marathon. I will call it my first "proper" MTB race. Loved it. a hard ride for sure with quite a sting in the tail after the descent from Greek church. Well organised, clearly marked and challenging. All the right ingredients for a fun day.
  23. VG on the day or Lynnwood Cyclery tomorrow (between 10 and 2 I think.)
  24. You must be quite bright then.
