I would choose between 6.5 Creedmoor and 308. 6.5 will only get you about 2500 shots of barrel life, where the 308 will easily do double that. Vihtavuori powder will add another couple of hundred shots over the hot burning S365 stretching the 6.5 to about 3000 shots. Vihtavuori is more expensive than Somchem, but it's easy to find and a more "stable" powder. The ,308 is less fussy when it comes to loading. Shooting to 1000m in good conditions we can swing a 400mm gong the whole day with 308 and 6.5

  10. Just spoke to AgriSa Agricultural activities to proceed as normal. According to AgriSa I can move freely within the borders of the farm as I wish. The fact that all workers will be on leave is a bonus so if I feel like, fishing, cycling or waterskiing with my family on the farm I can do as I please. AgriSa 021 860 8300
  11. PS. I'm not bending any rules to suit me and I'm not above the law. We have less people living in our town than some complexes in CPT. So standing on your stoep puts you at greater risk than me moving around on 2000ha.
  12. Same here. Harvesting done and our farm workers are taking their 3 weeks annual leave from Friday.Nobody is working. Crime is also big problem here so being seen around the farm is always a good thing. I still need to check on irrigation, pumps, sheds, implements and just some general security. We will be 2 managers and the owner moving on the farm during the lockdown period. On 2000ha we will still be further apart than most people on their IDT at home. Agriculture is business as usual, so if we carried on we would've had people cycling to work at different places all over the farm. We also have a 1000ha game Camp where nobody is allowed in where I'm definitely going to spend some time. Nobody in a 2km radius of me.
  13. I don't think I will have a problem with the law. One of the perks of being a farm manager is I can cycle on the farm. Only myself and the boss cycle here.
  14. Guy I know is struggling to get his R4000 back that he paid a bike shop for a mechanic service package during the Epic. I know it's not a lot of money, but guys are trying to get whatever scraps they can back to soften the blow should they lose their entry.
  15. I also cracked one open. Cheers

  19. I have a small and Medium Flipper. I carry the small on a daily basis and use it more often than I thought I would.I lost my previous small Flipper and replaced it within a week. Unfortunately they didn't have the black, but same great knife in another colour. Great value for money.
